This is a shameful merchant. They don’t publish the CPU of the server they sell, nor do they publish the frequency of the RAM. They just play tricks on you. The IP address of the machine I was given was blocked by Google. The customer service is very poor. I live in Asia and the delay when connecting to Japan is more than 200 ms, which is the same delay as when connecting to America.

Would you be able to explain how the IP is blocked by Google? What Google service is blocked and what the error is?

Which location VPS did you buy?

  • Please note that for those who have not purchased, I am telling the truth and they may attack me with a trumpet account.

  • I've purchased multiple VPSes from Hosthatch. If you know what you're getting into, it's a solid machine.

  • Lmao, bro basically bought service without any standards, didn't ask provider for more details and just blindly clicked checkout. Now proceeds to talk bad about his instance. Okay lol

If you want to know more about the system you're buying, you can just ask the people who bought it and do another yabs of it. Bench.monster yabs shows more details about your vps

Will back this, bought a Sydney service & after using it for a bit I swapped over my main European service to a Hosthatch VPS

If the exact CPU model is important to you and the seller doesn't publish it, why did you buy it? For all you know, HostHatch could be giving you an AMD CPU from 2010.

I bought one, but I couldn't find the snapshot, which is very important for building a website.
Biohost. de provides three snapshots. Can anyone tell me if there is any snapshot from hosthatch? Thank you very much.

Snapshots are available, you can check this link:
    https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/189388/new-features-from-hosthatch-in-2023-feedback-requested.

  • @zrj766r I checked and there is no snapshot for storing VPS. Thank you for your guidance

I’m not sure if snapshots are in all regions yet. From the OP of that link

    APAC: Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong
    EU: Amsterdam, Stockholm, London
US: Los Angeles, Chicago, New York

The remaining locations should be in the next 4-6 weeks.

It’s been 4-6 weeks but maybe they aren’t everywhere yet

  • It wud be great if we had the option to download our snapshot @hosthatch . though I dont know if the versions or formats wud be compatible enough to allow running the snapshot in my home pc ?

I bought 2 VM, 1 annually, and 1 monthly payment.
The monthly payment VM doesn't have a snapshot. Maybe you're on the monthly payment too.

Probably it's just the location of the VPS you paid monthly doesn't support snapshots.

  • @nick_ I inquired about buying VMs from different locations, covering various locations. They are all paid monthly and do not have snapshots

Those 2 VMs are in the same location, so I guess it's not available for monthly payment right now.

I don't have a monthly plan, but my 2-year promo VMs in Zurich and Tokyo don't have snapshots whereas the ones in Amsterdam and Singapore do (2 and 3 years respectively).

My Singapore virtual machine does not have a snapshot

  • So it could be the monthly billing term and the location.

Do we have any MJJ to English translator here? Need a help understanding what is a trumpet account and why someone would attack with a trumpet. Those fuckers are expensive... but kinda heavy, so a good weapon I guess?

  • Blocked by Google could also mean the IP is blacklisted on safe browsing list. Not clear though.

As far as I know, Google won't blacklist an IP, they flag it if that IP using as an exit node, so it will appear as a recaptcha every time we search for anything with Google.

If IP is blacklisted maybe it's on RBL, not Google.

Maybe. I'm referring to cases when browsers refuse to open a url with a big warning text on a red background page, citing malware found on the page and similar reasons. There's no captcha involved.

    Something like this.

It can happen when accessing the site by IP and the IP is blacklisted on safe browsing.
