Seems I was kinda unlucky for 2-3 weeks. I love the server and I have it extended for a year. I also increased storage on mine and it was easy peasy with no downtime.
The provider did NOT ask for artifical bumping and response count inflation!

This is really weird. I tried multiple browsers and with or without adblockers, the system keeps asking me to confirm AGB (T&C), which I already have and can't really place an order.
I believe they already doubled the RAM (instead of Bandwidth) without even asking for the bumps.
Other providers should learn from @berohost.
