With HostHatch it always takes longer, patience is a virtue.

    Compute VM in chicago ($920/2yr)
Fast af and so far no downtime, aside from when I did some oopsies. Private networking rocks for linking compute and storage VMs together. Would also prob be sick for doing docker swarms or k8s stuff.

Is that the regular VM or the one from this offer ??

This offer is basically just a smaller version of the BF sale, which is the one I got. You'll should similar, if not the same, hardware if you go for compute in chicago

Have you really asked almost a month later if link is dead?
    Especially when OP says:

With that being said, the following plans are available, until 20th April. Some plans may go out of stock earlier.

Can you check if IPv6 in .se still work for you?

For me it's pingable only inside their own network (checked through http://lg.sto.hosthatch.com )

Only interested in Disk IO here.

It is a problem. I have Amsterdam nvme compute and the nvme disk speed is really low same as in your test.
Do you still have this problem?
Anyone else on Amsterdam node have seen better speeds?

  • zelizeli Member

@mee2 said: Anyone else on Amsterdam node have seen better speeds?

I have an E5 NVME from last year's BF on Amsterdam and i have the same speeds, it seems low for an NVME, i have better results on my storage VPS (which has a HDD).

Seems like it's limited, i don't have any performance issues tho so i didn't bother to open a ticket.

Thanks for the information. Exact same observation. My Amsterdam storage has faster disk speed.
Compute node disk is really slow, slower than hdd. This is going to hurt my app performance.

Anyone figured out how to set rDNS for IPv6? Can't find it in the portal and my email server is marking mail as Spam due to RDNS_NONE.

Yes, that is a big problem for me. I really need better disk IO but this NVME VPS is even worst than their own Storage VMs..

I am still waiting for their reply to my ticket. :(

Still waiting for my SG VPS. I don't mind waiting and understand the delay, but please update the billing date to the date the server is provisioned accordingly.

  • aj_potcaj_potc Member

I had an Intel VPS deployed in NY a few days ago without any email notification. I believe it's the first time that has happened.

So to anyone still waiting, be sure to check the HostHatch portal, because you might find your new VM has been deployed already.

I’m reasonably content with my 10TB special, but it doesn’t seem to be quite 10TB of useable space. Is that expected?
