Possible to request VM housed in different node at data center @hosthatch

On normal pricing plans (25% off) maybe but I doubt on that's possible on their BF promo because it comes with limited support and relocating your vServer required manual work.

I doubt these deals are gonna come back even for BF :) never seen epyc getting double the ram or storage in the past.

Don't ask for upgrade if they bring a bigger banger on BF.

Wow. It's a no-brainer now. I told myself I wouldn't spend more on VPSes this year, but I just ordered a new 3-cores AMD one to replace one that's due for renewal at the end of the year.

Yeah, I thought I was done, too, but this convinced me to grab one of the AMDs for the first time.

So far, HostHatch has managed to extract nearly $800 from me on this sale. Those multi-year deals get expensive, but are too nice to resist. More money to my #1 provider of backup storage and hot spares. ;)

The AMD servers are pretty good! I moved a lot of my stuff from BuyVM onto one maybe a year ago now. The one I've currently got only has 8GB RAM, so getting a new one with 16GB RAM that barely costs any extra is worth it for sure.

ram and nvme price were dropped from whole sale before retail. we all in gamble and but it is a historical deal from hosthatch for their 12 years in this industry...

@hosthatch do you have vcore over 3.8Ghz on sale atm?

@hosthatch in the spirit of the celebrations we can get an extra core on the 10TB storage plan? 🙃

    That's pretty hard-core.

  • @hosthatch are we allowed to transfer VPSes to other customers? I have one that renews at the end of the year that I might just give away to someone for free once I'm not using it any more (going to migrate everything to another HostHatch VPS)

Yes, you can do it on your end in the control panel with a $10 fee.

Only if you promise not to transfer it for 2x after a few months.

    No promises

  • Awesome. Hope this deal lasts until 30th. Looking to drop 750 usd on those long term storage commits.

My 3TB in LON is running great since launch of location. I'm at 90% full.

I just logged in after months by chance. The math on buying 6x8tb ironwolf for raid6 homenas suddenly looks terrible .
