No more orders from China. Someone tell hostloc. I have no idea what infantile gang I have riled up inside of that country but if I get one more ticket asking me to approve a fraud order from Fuq Mei in Alabama, China from DigitalOcean I'm going to call my congressman and request sanctions.

Get it together China, no one else in the world is doing this shit 30 times an hour. I have an obligation not to accept orders from identities that I can verify to be fake at a glance, it's a business not a CS:GO tournament. Trust is a two way street, if your opening offer is that you have none, neither do I.

    You don't get it.

    It's not about VPN.
It's more for fake names and contact info provided during signups

Thats why good things come to an end for everyone

It's VPN + fake name + fake address that really is creating the problems. The time spent dealing with each one that matches that pattern is worth negative revenue, and is presently too high.

https://accounts.mxroute.com/ and the dot blackfriday domain are accessible from China mainland.

zoho separate a dot cn domain from its main dot com domain, and encourages people from mainland to buy from dot cn. this could be a way out to address the frustration.

also, jar may implement alipay as an alternative payment method since it is an authenticated way to avoid fraud.

Many chinese people had enough of data leaks and even shopping websites and delivery service in china now have options for customers to hide their name and address by default. So generally no one is willing to provide real information but that not means they are doing bad.

I can say that 99% of chinese orders which flagged as fraud by whmcs has nothing to do with real fraud activities so that it is not surprising that you got so many tickets about approve those orders because almost all of these clients think they are being misflagged.

It may technically accessible but it not means it works smoothly. The https connections to abroad may got interrupted and the captcha on payment gateway or CDN redirect page may not work.

And for zoho dot cn website which may have to keep data within china, you can know why people will not use. Just like the same as they chose mxroute instead of domestic alternative services with better features and even almost free.

For the purpose of conversation here for others to see and less of a response directly to you, I have a legal obligation not to accept liability by accepting fake identities.

I have no illusion that I can hold a Chinese citizen legally liable for their activities on my platform, but it is still my duty to not actively assume liability for a user, which is what I consider myself to be doing if I know for certain that I have not collected as much as a real name for my customer.

Really wasn't that big of an attack overall, but I pulled the whole IP list involved in the DDOS attack: https://clbin.com/DTbi3
