  • is @MannDude (incognet) actually also affected when @seriesn (nexusbytes) goes under? @MannDude relies on @seriesn systems throughout.

Why care, at all, about how someone else stores their data? For all we know, this was @jsg's porn stash.

  • My Mexusbytes vps was today down 7 minutes. In June total down time was about 1h. That's Ok for me. Anyway, hopefully seriesn can make family great again. Sad to see if involucration is here too.

If they were to go, yeah, we'd be impacted. I placed an order for a decent amount of gear with a new provider in Amsterdam to migrate to but the ETA is still a bit out...

I love Jay but have had experienced enough inconveniences that from a business perspective, I've got to move. It's just business. I've been out of stock for the majority of the year so I need to do what I can to continue and maintain growth.

I'm not a big client by any means, but when I asked Jay about when he'd have more stock earlier this year, the ticket was never answered. If clients are requesting your services, but you can't even tell them if you will ever have more stock, that's a bad sign.

Probably, dustin is already thinking to run a refugee offer. (Unfortunately, they dont have cheap internal DirectAdmin licenses).

Well I'm in the same boat with my clients currently. Thought I found a new home to grow into, but currently been waiting over a week for a simple IP/AS announcement. I really have no idea when we'll have more stock, but I'll be upfront and tell you that.

I cancelled my services at NexusBytes earlier this month. I had been a very happy client, but I also have learned to see the warning signs.

That feeling when you're more successful than you intended to be so you outsource support, turn on call of duty, and turn off your phone.

Currently in talks with Super 1 Foods.

That's what I expected of Jay. I wanted to check on storage VPS expansion, and simply needed to know if he plans to increase stock or not in a certain location. A yes or no was all I was looking for, but the ticket auto-closed without a reply.

You're right - we don't. Though, the good news is that you can obtain it directly for reasonable rates if it is a must.

As for as a refugee offer, I don't think there's much there.

  • How does the family predict this storyline plays out?

    1. Buyout
    2. Slow demise leading to deadpool
    3. Miraculous return to former glory

I'm curious what other project(s) is occupying the owners time.

What if it was already bought out?

Theoretically I'd wish for (3) but it seems there is a quite hefty premise problem (plus a "will we ever fully trust him again?" problem or at the very minimum a "how long will it take to regain trust?" problem).
My second choice would be (1) but there's a problem at the root. A buyout needs talks and negotiations and if those would be possible (so far it seems they are not) the whole problem wouldn't exist in the first place.
So, sadly it'll quite likely be (2) I'm afraid. Really sad.

    UPDATE

Finally got a response, after ca. 18 hours: "The issue had been solved"

So a new round of the increasingly unnerving and insulting NexusBytes game.

Result: the enduser panel still does not work. Cloudflare reports a timeout error.
The VPS was working and reachable again - for less than 15 minutes and less than 15 GB transfer to the disk.
That was round 4. Let's see how many more rounds they'll play ...

Sorry but what I see there is neither the NexusBytes I knew (and trusted) nor the @seriesn I knew (and trusted).
