However, I'm not sure why I would deserve any credit on this particular occasion?

Because I am always grateful for the help received. I try not to forget good deeds, with or without cunts involved.

I am still perplexed as to how I assisted you in this matter, however if you insist I did, I I’ll graciously accept your thanks.

Seriously, what the fuck did I do?

Just wanted to say a little thank you to everyone who has replied with "HELP BUILD A BETTER VPN SERVICE" and signed up and an extra thank you to @default for already providing feedback.

We are seeing active connections which is great and our network is looking very stable. As part of our survey we will be asking everyone what features/locations you like to see in a VPN service.

We are currently scouting (virtually) providers for networks across the globe that we can lease/colo hardware matching our UK one. So if you have location suggestions they are very much welcome

    Thank you again everyone

I have tested the VPN and it's fine but the IP's are from a datacenter so it's not really useful for streaming. I would like to ask, is the VPN IP dedicated or shared with other users?

The IP is shared, we will be offering dedicated IP for customers as per the roadmap.

We are also looking at IP options that won’t full under a data centre listing but that’s not easy to apply. Most VPN providers we have tested also have data centre IPs.

That is certainly something we will look at and see what they have done and see what we can so. Of course, Oracle are a tad larger than us so they likely have more capability/ partnerships but we will check

they didn't specifically paid netflix for the unlock, netflix wouldn't be allowed to do that since they have contracts. they just got lucky, could have to do with what the IP's were used for before.

Wasn't saying that either, but it could be that Netflix uses some of Oracles systems so don't want to block their IPs, or could mean that Oracles IPs are used by too many enterprises that again, companies such as Netflix wouldn't want to block them.

The alternative is using some sort of residential proxy but that is very costly.

Again, we will be looking at all of this while in these early stages.

You can proxy only requests to streaming sites and I have seen socks5 USA residential unlimited static IP for 3$/month

Maybe someone could test this VPN from China, see if it works.

It should work from China, or at least the servers IP subnet can be pinged from china using https://perfops.net/ping-from-china

Trialing the service seems OK so far - about 30% penalty on speedtest - but OpenVPN based isn't ideal. Wireguard would be great for multi-platform support.

We are looking into WireGuard now, it has been one of the biggest feature requests  as well as residential IP via proxy/socks5.

With WireGuard, the main thing we are investigating is the systems to see when a user has connected and disconnected from the VPN. OpenVPN has these features to allow us to count the number of devices connected but WireGuard doesn't seem to have anything like this which is very limiting.

Actually OpenVPN is still a good option and even if is blocked, OpenVPN through stunnel will work. Wireguard traffic is easily blocked. Tunneled Wireguard though should be harder to block.
