Sir, at times one must communicate with individuals in a manner befitting their own intelligence. Sadly it will always be necessary to deploy uncouth narrative on occasion, and I assure you I find it most uncomfortable, however for the good of the community it must be done.

We are using IPs from our data centre on these tests at the moment, we have our own IPs but again they are not residential but something we could look into

For this provider I tried to do some testies (as in tests, not testicles - damn you @Nekki for changing yourself) as follows.

Speedtest (yabs.sh) using OpenVPN, from Terrahost - Sandefjord, Norway server (300mbps connection):

    iperf3 Network Speed Tests (IPv4):
    ---------------------------------
Provider | Location (Link) | Send Speed | Recv Speed
                    | | |
    Clouvider | London, UK (10G) | 25.5 Mbits/sec | 26.6 Mbits/sec
    Online.net | Paris, FR (10G) | 28.4 Mbits/sec | 26.8 Mbits/sec
    Hybula | The Netherlands (40G) | 23.9 Mbits/sec | 34.1 Mbits/sec
    Clouvider | NYC, NY, US (10G) | 22.8 Mbits/sec | 19.0 Mbits/sec

    Clouvider | Los Angeles, CA, US (10G) | 25.5 Mbits/sec | 16.8 Mbits/sec

Speedtest (yabs.sh) using OpenVPN, from Servarica - Montreal, Canada server (100mbps connection):

    iperf3 Network Speed Tests (IPv4):
    ---------------------------------
Provider | Location (Link) | Send Speed | Recv Speed
                    | | |

    Clouvider | NYC, NY, US (10G) | 127 Mbits/sec | 10.4 Mbits/sec
    Velocity Online | Tallahassee, FL, US (10G) | 78.3 Mbits/sec | 15.2 Mbits/sec
    Clouvider | Los Angeles, CA, US (10G) | 51.3 Mbits/sec | 5.96 Mbits/sec

Speedtest (yabs.sh) using OpenVPN, from LunaNode - Roubaix, France server (1gbps connection):

    iperf3 Network Speed Tests (IPv4):
    ---------------------------------
Provider | Location (Link) | Send Speed | Recv Speed

    Online.net | Paris, FR (10G) | 192 Mbits/sec | 72.3 Mbits/sec

    Clouvider | NYC, NY, US (10G) | 81.6 Mbits/sec | 23.0 Mbits/sec
    Velocity Online | Tallahassee, FL, US (10G) | 70.7 Mbits/sec | 31.3 Mbits/sec
    Clouvider | Los Angeles, CA, US (10G) | 37.3 Mbits/sec | 14.5 Mbits/sec

Unfortunately I (cunt) cant (@Nekki get out of my head) test connection from Scaleway Netherlands directly, because Stardust servers are out of stock. If someone could test this (by having a Stardust server in Netherlands) that would be nice to see.

Sorry @HostMedia because I went a bit overboard on this testing, and also configured the VPN on connection with a torrent, to see if I can download through the VPN, and yes, it works. I successfully managed to download a small movie from Empornium private tracker through this VPN (thank you @Nekki). This feature of VPN will prove extremely useful later, if @HostMedia provider decides to ignore DMCA while providing some plans with unlimited bandwidth for torrenting. All this depends on @HostMedia though - so to avoid abuse I used a private tracker for a few moments. I do not know their terms yet, so please do not abuse their services and do not use this free service for torrenting yet.

A downside would be the fact that servers are in UK, with all it's legal implications. While using the VPN, customers can not access the Russian media which is currently censored by UK government (sputniknews.com as an example). However, public torrent websites (like Pirate Bay) are not blocked by provider.

Overall I consider this a nice VPN, considering this is still in beta or testing stage.

Unfortunately there are many VPNs on internet, with OpenVPN, and with mobile applications. So to prove @HostMedia anonymity, maybe at start it would be nice to see a page on website dedicated to VPN anonymity, showing the processes running on servers (something like htop), and server OpenVPN configs (showing no logs), just to prove the customers there are no logs kept. This is just a personal idea, helping to possibly increase sales, yet it might also be a magnet for abusers.

Sir I am delighted to hear that you managed to make it to the promised land! However, I'm not sure why I would deserve any credit on this particular occasion?
