The first VPS I purchased was from @miTgiB (Hostigation). It was through their Winter Holiday sale and I still have it!
mine was with azzavps
Did they even have "virtualization" technology back then?
Year: 2010
Provider: Hostrail
4 CPU Core (each 0.6 GHz)
384 MB RAM
60 GB HDD
400 GB BW @100 Mbps
I believe it was 2009, bought from polish hosting company http://vipower.pl/
Something like 1GB RAM/1GB swap for ~ 7USD/mo.
My first VPS was with swvps.com which is a Windows VPS with $18/month. I found the first invoice was 2009. It seems like 2009~2010 is the hot year for VPSes?
I think I had my first VPS in 2008 or 2009 with filemedia (still existing, yay), but they had their nodes with ovh, which I disliked after some months. Then I quickly discovered the low end market and today I don't count the boxes anymore.
my first VPS provider was http://www.qirus.eu/services/vps-servers
i had their first package and i couldn't have wished for a better provider!
but after 1 year the support department suddenly disapeared
not responding to any tickets, even now they are still not answered
my server did not boot any more and thats where i decided to move on.
i guess it was good aslong it lasted, but now i cannot recommend them to anyone anymore.
RoseHosting 2002. The nodes were PIII 933MHz with 1.5GB RAM running Linux vServer. RedHat 6.2. the plans
Were you even alive back then?

I have forgotten my first VPS
From 2005 onwards have been using dedicated servers
was with quickpacket .. I needed irc access , which i didnt read they dont allowed. Requested a refund within 20 minutes , they declined. i said uh ok.. and used it for an year until i cancelled it.
2008, VPS 333 from web-wide-hosting.co.nz (price 8,90 USD/month)
My first VPS was a managed VPS from ZFast for £27/Month.
Great support I received and eventually learned enough by myself and left to a more cheaper and unmanaged solution.
