Hmm, TYOC034 still doesn't look great on my test or yours. It's definitely missing a piece of the magic recipe; I'll try to hopefully copy the rest over without making it worse. Try again in 10 minutes if you're interested to see if it worked.

I ran speedtest and packet loss rate had improved. Anyway, I hope some people see this and close their unwanted tickets...
After a little more time, the load on the nodes will equalize and stabilize.

  • So did you shipped Tokyo storage or not ? If not, when will you send it out?

    @VirMach said:
Los Angeles storage node is at the datacenter. This will most likely be the first location deployed for storage. As @FAT32 mentioned we made a bold claim about Tokyo storage being shipped 100% tomorrow around Monday or Tuesday and were were of course wrong. It's been ready to pick up 100%, I just pooched the actual pickup by getting too busy to arrange it.

Los Angeles storage may initially only be 1Gbps, I need to order SFP+ to 10Gbps transceiver for that unless I locate one at the office but they may have all gone to Amsterdam and Tokyo.

Buying storage for more than a month, still waiting, that is, virmach merchant, 100% delivery means still 0.0000001% not delivered, the current situation in Tokyo, continue to wait, rest assured, their accessories are still produced by AMD, I do not recommend everyone to buy storage

In terms of packet loss, it did improve a lot, however something is happening at the host gateway it seems, here's a quick ping inside the VM to host:

Yeah, most if not all the packet loss at least to most the world except China is going to be at the gateway still. It's an issue with the NIC still, not the actual network blend.

will the NIC issue at tokyo be fixed with something about "10G upgrade?"

Tokyo 30 is just getting worse after the tweak.
It used to be flat 80 something ms with occasional 600ms-700ms from time to time.
Now it's just bad ping all the time.

    can you help me ?

We can help get it booting when we get to your ticket but there’s 700 other tickets right now and we’re still getting too many per day. We always process priority tickets first when we can and you’d qualify for making one of those if it’s truly broken, just make sure you don’t have an old ISO mounted first and make sure you did install an OS.

We can’t help move you back if you moved to the new location you selected though.

thanks, anyway just make my service can run correctly.

Which location are you using? (And node number)
Where did you try to install the template from? billing or SolusVM?
Before you do anything else, click UNMOUNT in ISO selection from billing site. Change boot order to hard disk only.
Currently you can only install OS template from billing, and if you haven't done so, try to install AlmaLinux 8. After 30 minutes, connect via VNC and see if you can see a login prompt.

Node 29. After your tweak, packet loss is reduced dramatically. However, latency is increased. As you can see from the figure below, the values for Avg, Worst and StDev are much higher. I guess some other nodes are similar.

Amsterdam is almost ready and all pre-orders (for Ryzen, not for storage) will be activated shortly. Here's a YABS for everyone. I ran these all simultaneously on the four nodes we've set up. The disk portion for the YABS are not representative of the disks that customers will go on, it's the OS disk.

Make sure to close out of all VirMach tabs.
