    If you don't care about latency or network speed, that's right. The US and EU deals are much better.

    If you care, which you probably do since you are looking at JP, then you are getting an amazing deal at $22/yr. If you want something similar with no discounts or special sales, you would have to pay $5/mth just for 1 core and 1 GB ram on the bigger cloud providers like digitalocean/vultr.

    I don't see what's so disappointing, you rarely see VPS in JP (and Asia) for less than $2/m, maybe you can point out others that can give such pricing? Please be grateful :)
