anyone wants to let go his/her Opossum IPv6? :D, I'm interested to take it

I have one, lets get this sorted on pm.

Edit: I am not sure if servarica allows transfers, so check with them first.

From some reason, some of the plans are not sold out.

@servarica_hani - the limits from table are still in place?

I think only Opossum is out of stock, others offers are still avail.

I am actually glad Opossum is out of stock. It means people like IPv6-only servers that much. @yoursunny surely took notes on this provider.

I didn't buy Opossum because I only have 120GB of family photos to store.
Once I fill up my HostHatch 250GB ($15, dual stack), I'll consider 1TB storage box.

@servarica_hani said: it is great, having our own private datacenter suite feels good

Do you have any photos of it?

Was planning to have someone professional take the photos but it is usually low in the priority list

will take pictures be end of this week while installing some new storage servers and post them here :)

Did you have the chance to take some photos?

    @Daniel15 @k4zz @matheny

here are some photos i took yesterday night while doing some work there

there are few servers shipments yet to be installed, thats why i go more often there now

the suit is actually much bigger than what you see in the pics as i was taking the images from the middle (the other side was full cartons of disks and cables as I am installing the new server patch)

each rack here is approx 10kw and we have on site another set of free racks that are not yet installed so we have alot of expansion space

A reminder to those with the IPv6 only storage servers, you can configure a Public NAT64 instance to access the IPv4 web:

    https://nat64.xyz/

Unfortunately, all of them seem to be in Europe anyways.

so, can you shed some more info on how to use this? So my current ISP does not provide IPv6... and I have the IPv6 only system... How will the providers services help? How/ what do I need to configure on the server so I can reach it from my IPv4?

I went to a provider listed: https://nat64.net/ and it says configure the DNS to the ones listed... So, I change it where? On my local (windows - ipv4) or Server (centos - ipv6)?

    Thanks

NAT64 allows an IPv6-only client (in this case, an Opposum IPv6 server) to access the IPv4 internet.

To access an IPv6 from an ISP that doesn't support IPv6, you need a tunnelbroker. If you google up "setup IPv6 tunnelbroker platform name", you'll get all the tutorials you need.

Do you have any hints for when? Easter weekend?

  • nat64.net is only to let your ipv6 only machine reach ipv4 if you want to use your pc with ipv4 only you need a tunnel with he.net or any other you can see at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_IPv6_tunnel_brokers So it will let you reach you ipv6 only VPS.
