Hosting that accepts controversy websites & Freedom of Speech

Hi,

I want a Hosting that accepts controversy websites and freedom of speech

Requirements

VPS or Dedicated Server
2GB RAM or 4GB Minimium
Disk space> minimium 10GB
Location> Europe
Budget> 20$ / 80$

The Hosting provider should allow freedom of speech! Please don't suggest Hostings that doesn't allow freedom of speech, or controversy websites (extreme right)

Looking for those who really can allow this, and not who only can allow that and suspend after a little pression from LGBT.

Thank you

    We got you: https://incognet.io/free-speech-webhosting

If it's legal then it's good to go.

Freedom of Speech and European Union don't go together.

    Stick to the States.

No, stay out of the EU if you are worried about political/freedom of speech pressure.

    Francisco

  • Well, @jmginer do you also allow this? I could be surprised if you do it lol.

https://buyvm.net/ (as Francisco said better US, So I also think they host some of it, or I'm wrong?)

https://alexhost.com/dedicated-servers/ (they are dmca ignored, and they host some of controversy websites, specially extreme right?)

https://flokinet.is/ (They are freedom of speech, but their acceptable usage policy says the opposite?)

    But

    @Wikipedia said:
Luxembourg, officially the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, is a landlocked country in Western Europe. It is bordered by Belgium to the west and north, Germany to the east, and France to the south. Its capital, Luxembourg City, is one of the four official capitals of the European Union (together with Brussels, Frankfurt, and Strasbourg) and the seat of the Court of Justice of the European Union, the highest judicial authority in the EU.

  • Based on your last sentense, i assume you can try any hosting provider located in Russia if it can be called eastern Europe. For example

    https://pinvds.com/eng_ssd_vps_hosting

Can you be more specific? What is happening? They aren't ignoring any more? You said "not for long"

  • The Netherlands (where i’m from) are also big on free speech. Most Dutch hosters don’t care, especially about politics speech if that is what you’re after.

    Check also: https://www.government.nl/topics/human-rights/human-rights-worldwide/freedom-of-expression-and-internet-freedom

The one exception is ofcourse terrorism, but that is nowhere in the world legal to host.

    Possibly not political in nature...

They talking about LGBT for NL that sounds terrible. Like no smoking here.

I should really learn to read posts better, sorry about that.

Hmm, the Netherlands is one of the primary LGBT++ supporting countries but it’s still not illegal to be against it. again, freedom of speech. That is mostly hoster dependant though over here. I think your best bet would be NFORCE.com in that case, in combination with something like cloudflare. @MannDude would also offer a great option with incognet.io.

I support lgbt++ personally, but i can understand some don’t.

Should be fine in NL, I'd imagine. As Fran said though, the US probably is the best place for free speech, at least for certain things. We've got a Dallas, Texas location that we plan on launching next year in Q1 or early Q2 at the latest for that reason.

Interestingly enough, we received a sales ticket the other day asking if we'd support a forum that has "alternative COVID information". I'm not exactly for sure what they were referring to, but I assume it was an anti-vax website. I won't name the company, but they're a well known, "free speech provider", who actually strictly prohibits anti-vax content on their network despite it not being illegal. Their TOS/AUP reads that the health ministry / whatever and the WHO said it's safe and they do not wish to go against their guidelines. (Paraphrasing here, I'm tired).

So, I guess what I'm getting at it's always just best to ask. I was actually shocked that the company they were referring to did not allow that content or discussion that challenged whatever their local health officials and the WHO publish.

We're a business, not content moderators. In short, if it's legal in the United States where our business is registered and legal where it's being hosted then we're fine with it. I don't expect all of our customers to be people I'd want to share lunch or a beer with or people that I'd hang out with offline but everyone has the right to express their views regardless if I agree or disagree with them.

EDIT: Had a pretty fun conversation on our Mastodon the day we created an account on the platform regarding free speech here: https://mastodon.social/web/@incognet/107195854267975350
