  • @ninzo59 :

Would you clarify us some points about moving Failover IPv4 subnet between SyS servers concerning billing?

    Scenario:

    • I had a SyS server A with FO subnet 123.123.123.123/28
    • Now I 'd upgrade to other plan, eg. higher, by newly ordering a SyS server B on the same location
    • Then, I'd move FO subnet 123.123.123.123/28 from A to B
    • Then, I'd cancel service for server A

    - How about FO subnet 123.123.123.123/28 will be billed to be used with server B, providing that server B have just 16 FO IP's ?

    Thank you

Latency wise it’s a really small difference for me, and I have no data residency requirements, I just like having stuff here.

  • Looks like only HDD is restocked. Not sure for NVMe.

  • IPMI says
    CPU: D-1541
    HDD: 4x SATA HDD - 4T - 512n

I'll start a benchmark when I have installed an OS

Yes, just ordered and got delivered within minutes. It comes with free IPMI, but you should pay attention to lottery

That extra ‘1’ on the CPU model makes a difference, much better performance. Really tempted.

Because of high demands, HSGT has not enough stocks of 2TB HDD for OVH, then 4TB in place for my SYS-2-SAT-2 :) 4 x {almost new HDD 4TB 7200rpm} (Power_On_Hours respectively are 237, 109, 78 and 109)
    CPU: model name : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU D-1541 @ 2.10GHz
    IPMI: yes
No need to run YABS, then. Even running has a negative/reverse effect if it has 1 Gbps connection

Performance wise, do you think there'd be much difference between the SYS-2-SSD-32 and the SYS-LE-2 ?

  • I also did this and they said it’s out of stock even though I paid 3 days ago, they said they have no idea when it will be back in so it’s a waiting game
