@MaxKVM
I got a problem with holding not buying a VPS... so help me god
Actually, that could be me, only if I have more spare money
me me me ...I think many guys like us
Absolutely.
maybe 99.9% of users here, except user with Provider tag
Well at least on my defense,
I'm gonna used this VPS for my project, that 100GB NVMe storage was sweet deals
And I might cancel my 4G-4CPU VPS when this PKVM-6G can be migrated to Singapore
tried lg in SG at URL http://lg.sin.maxkvm.net/
seems that traceroute not China fav. hotsnow has two boxes in SG. I had a plan to migrate when slots are available, but after testing the traceroute & ping, I may stay at where I am. US datacenter is much more acceptable than SG datacenter, at least from stats.
For ChinaUnicom to MaxKVM, the route of LAX & NYC use He.NET, the He.NET is extremly terrible, the DFW also too slow (GTT), although the route to SG is: China->US->JP->HK->SG, but the wget speed can always be 10+MB/s, it's already better than most of CN-US direct route
I have just made some tests, wget from lax/dfw/nyc < 30KB/s, ams sometimes can reach 10MB/s but not stable, the SG now is 14MB/s
the ping & traceroute are important, but not all, although many vps with low ping and direct route, but the download speed is terrible.
This is probably intentional to keep out MJJs.
For China Mobile, most international traffic goes through Hong Kong then San Jose, so it's better off select a provider near San Jose.
I'll try to download sth before a final decision.
thx @hotsnow @yoursunny
It probably is terrible. There have been many attempts to optimize routes between Singapore and China, but there is nothing we can do to improve. The routes for the rest of the region (India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, etc..) should be optimized now (after months of work).
Please check ping.pe for latency, MTR, and packet loss to/from China if you or most of your visitors will be connecting from China:

Cheaper by a dollar with the yearly promotion.
https://manage.maxkvm.com/cart.php?a=add&pid=2&billingcycle=annually&promocode=YEARLY1G
Nope, just add all products in the cart, and caculate original price by discount amount and percent.
Thanks. Thats inspired me.
I guess there isn't 75% off coupon any more.
12-31-2020 75% off PKVM-8G
The promotion code entered has already been used lol
I'm really curious how @MaxKVM is able to provide such generous data transfer allowance in the Singapore location, given its notoriety for having expensive bandwidth costs in the region.
MaxKVM seem to use Hivelocity Dedicated Servers i would say and some of their Custom Built Bare Metal Servers come with 100TB @ 1Gbit in Singapore
Damn, seems like the coupon was set on the wrong date
ha ha ha
So tomorrow there's no available code anymore .. duh ..
Lol
may be max disc on 1-1-2021 kk
Hope so kk
The last day of the promotion program and the first day of NEW YEAR. IT MUST BE A SPECIAL DISCOUNT!? @MaxKVM
But too many people there and my connection is slow. How to win a slot? Too hard
I've paid $115 for a provider but still have nothing till now.
Actually you can buy a VPS or two from your deposit fund. There are still lot of available package.
