Damn, did you order before me? I basically ordered and then instantly replied here.

I ordered mine before I made the post :) Most should be deployed today but, if you did not get it by Friday then you should contact them

If I had to guess.. free support?

or maybe Aaron the owner is a hippie? and if you had to ask, then it's probably of no use to you ;)

  • Got mine, very happy.

  • Got mine provisioned over the weekend which surprised me. Also got a "AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 965 Processor". Drive is ancient however:" 9 Power_On_Hours 0x0032 066 066 000 Old_age Always - 30084"

Good to hear.. and the drive is about 3.5 years old.

  • Forgive my slight exaggeration on the drive age but 30084 hours is quite old.

No, your not exaggerating at all.. with WII/DS they tend to give you older drives. companies like OVH/online.net most time they will give you new or newer drives

  • That's a lot of bandwidth for that price range!

Yup! WII/DS is pretty generous with their BW and the 5 IP's included is also a good deal considering most CO. only give you one or two.

Here's Datashack extra IPv4 pricing (monthly), confirmed by them today:

    /29 8 ips (5 Usable) - $8

    >

    /28 16 ips (13 Usable) - $16

    >

    /27 32 ips (29 Usable) - $32

    >

    /26 64 ips (61 Usable) - $64

    >

    /25 128 ips (125 Usable) - $128

    >

We have a strict policy of not allowing Mass email marketing servers. We only issue /26 or larger IP blocks to our high-end servers.

No idea what high-end server client in need of a /25 would shell out $128, but there you are...

Not saying it's a bad deal, but at $30 and up you have quite a few other options.. like this one from OVH..

  • I still can't understand dat $35 Core2, seems they just want to piss the Intel fans off?
