Waiting for Ipv6 support, if added I will use it immediatly. Looks really awesome
@taronyu - Should have IPv6 support within the next 45 days.
@BlueVM Do you have an ETA for Xen support?
We release on a 2 week cycle. I'm pushing to get it included in the next push.
I'd love to see this working with Proxmox.
Billing Modules for WHMCS available?
If you installed feathur it gets stored in /var/feathur/scripts if I remember correctly.
@Netxons - Yes. See: https://github.com/BlueVM/Feathur/blob/develop/Scripts/WHMCS/modules/servers/feathur/feathur.php
Nice !
I have some 32 bit machines at home running ovz, will it work with 32 bit ovz ?
Excellence!
@Maounique - I'm fairly confident it will. I've not tested it, but I believe it works the same as 64 bit (in general).
Anyone had success rigging this up on DO? Looking to do a bit of testing there. If not, I'll just grab my old laptops out of the cupboard...
Looks good! Which features for kvm are available?
@fileMEDIA - As follows:
In addition, a system to allow clients to upload their own ISOs for installation temporarily (48h?) is being developed. I don't know how far along it is, but that feature would be VERY nice
@BlueVM Big thanks, i already found it on github. KVM templates aren't supported yet? It looks really nice and you can change the code by yourself (security hooks like mac mac to firewall,..). A few more updates and it is ready to swap from solusvm to Feathur.
@fileMEDIA - We intend on taking a slightly different approach to templates... so no we haven't added it yet.
is it possible to install it on a KVM vps ?
@FlyInTheSky So long as you can change the Kernel to the OpenVZ Kernel, I can't think of any reason not.
@FlyInTheSky - As Magiobiwan stated, yes it's possible.
Looks very nice. Neon seems to have stalled though.
@Roph - Sometimes on the road you have to make an immediate right turn to solve another problem.
Added Feathur as an alternative to solusvm at alternativeto.net. Hopefully it gets approved and more people can benefit from it. (http://alternativeto.net/software/feathur/)
Oh no, I should have left my ssh port alone before installing the slave, I got the RSA Key and then saw iptables... and it dropped the connection.
Heads up to everyone who's not an idiot, leave the ssh port to 22 before installing a slave.
Great! Where's Neon?
It's not open source, it's a custom license. OSS isn't about being able to get the source code, but about being allowed to copy, modify and (re)distribute (and there are more than one OSS licenses)
I'm curious, does it support private IPs? (eventually with NAT too)
@BlueVM I think this is right the issue I reported on the other forum.
how to install a slave with a non default ssh port?
At the moment you can't.
