    By the way, never had our bank calling us for any transaction.

    I can give you a hundred reasons why I love my country (India) but awesome quality of financial services and friendly bankers are not on that list.

    And since it's a Friday evening here, now where's that beer?

    Well I actually like our financial servides but what pisses me off is the complexity of taxes and running a company in Portugal. You just lose money if you don't do it right. We even have taxes on profit... After taxes.

    Oh damn, we shall get some beer today!!!

  • How does your migration (from cPain) work? I've got some backups from that side and want to cross to you.

    Ha. I can relate to that. My cc company has been hounding me ever since I used their card for PP purchases particularly for LET deals. Apparently they want me to reconfirm that it is indeed me who is making all those buys, by calling them because I have a do not call block on .

    The central bank sends these so called know your customer notices every now and then, I received notices for more than one account in the past month. So much for randomness. Could be causation, could be correlation.

    Not to mention PP conversion rate plus fees plus charges add over 7 or 8 percent to overall transaction costs for me as a buyer. Some of these cannot be written off or my accountant gives me grief as well.

    why should they spoil the all fun?
    :-)

    Exactly! My last purchase was above $2k via CC and got a call thrice. Told them thrice, yes it is me!

    Not their fault, they are just doing their work but since we (Indians) are naive to fall for online scams (and at the same time run IRS call centre scams), this step is vital.

    ... and yep the PP conversion rates are horrible hence I try to avoid as much as I can to use Paypal/CC

    We do have IPv6 in both servers, yep.

    So where do I find this IPv6? I got a lifetime plan on the Hetzner machine, but all documentation I received only have the IPv4 and hostname also has no AAAA record..

    Edit: Still need to work on implementing IPv6 properly though, not sure it's listening in the IPv6, do allow us some time :)

    Big Foot, I guess.

  • On the migration issue, I have 6 domains with separate cP accounts but I want to throw them all into one of your lifetimes. I already have a separate backup of each one, wouldn't it be easier to work with those?

    If not, I would need some time to go fish for those account details.

    If that's separate accounts you'll need to bundle those in a single account then we can restore :)
    We only restore full cPanel backups, as it is.

    You are welcome to! :)

    We are trying to keep it with updated versions. To be honest implementing 5.6 isnt in our plans. Clients should update their software. We are always running our stuff in the last software versions and hope that it is an incentive for our clients to update their websites too :)

    Its Sunday. Give me time to sort it. LET isnt our helpdesk.

    1 - You told us to install a custom DirectAdmin theme;
    2 - Asked to migrate a full server;
    3 - Asked to adjust the due date to when we finish the migration.

    Be patient. I will get to your ticket as soon as possible. There are many other migrations in the queue.
