Do you know what RAID 10 is? You posted link to raid 1.
It shouldn't have a big difference in terms of downtime
So you are arguing to a random person online about something you have no nothing about.
Indeed.
I give up now
I confirm VirMach do use RAID10 in all servers.
Glad to know they took the server offline for a scheduled maintenance or else the IO during the sync would be caotic.

lol had a hard time understanding that sentence. This makes way more sence. Thanks
Oh well. If you know better, sure.
How do you know what MikePT can confirm?
Do you? Jk obviously you dont.
Raid 10 is raid 1+0 so for drive failures rebuild process its identical.
RAID 10 only reads the surviving mirror and stores the copy to the new drive you replaced. Your usual read and write operations are virtually unchanged from normal operations.
OP can't be a male. Oozes too much PMS. He either hasn't hit puberty yet or is a female.
@deank see another troll doing a better job than you.
It's honestly hard to tell if he's seriously clueless or cluelessly serious.
If the IO is affected by read operations then it will affect the performance.
RAID 10 SELECTOR OK?

Oh God... LET is so much fun. Better than Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime together.
