I just bought a BuyVM LUX slice, I don't even know why I need it. What does everyone like about the location? Am I allowed to host shirtless pics of @Francisco without getting DMCAed?

We have a bunker in Albania where you can host @Francisco 's shirtless photos! No DMCA, no anything! We have put a guard 24 / 7 to protect the servers with his life.

  • At this rate, Fran would surely need his own multiple datacenters as OVH has. ;) Congratulations.

    Haha

We're trying to keep things under control for growth/staffing.

Minus the bit of extra room I made in Vegas & NY, we aren't planning anymore racks in the coming years.

Ha, beat you all to the new LU stock. Suck it!

  • deankdeank Member, Troll

I prefer your older avatar, @Ree.

  • LeeLee Veteran

I decided it was time to change, so I opened google images, ran my finger across the keyboard, hit enter and picked the first image, that was it. Not even sure what it is. A tree obviously before your smart ass reply, which though.

  • deankdeank Member, Troll

It doesn't look like a tree at least in this size.

It looks like tip of a dick with cherries on top.

@Francisco how about shared / reseller at NY? Many of us would love that!

I am starting to think that the right thing to do is get a Lux slice and let it idle til 2020 when storage gets added in LUX or fran becomes Emperor of the galaxy, whatever comes first.

We have more network changes coming, the DC's just been waiting on word on a cross connect for me.

The MX204 is racked and configured, just waiting to schedule a maintenance window to cut over :)

Do you mean it's worth cancelling one's old VPS then get a new one? What changed so drastically as to justify that?

  • CrabCrab Member

Nice, got one LUX box finally myself too after a long time of waiting!

I canceled my buyvm lux vps like 2 months or so ago as I didn't need it at the time, bought a new one today and I noticed the network was much faster then the old one.
