    He has clearly said before that if you upgrade the vps to a non supported system that don't belong to the list he has in his options, then, he will not provide any support if something breaks. So, don't ask him, if you try it, you're on your own. And he has tell it millions of times. This dirty cheap vps is not for wearing a debian 9. It is for what it is: use it for a vpn, a torrent machine, something that can be used according to the weakness of a non current kernel. Or else, buy something else.

    @cociu Please check the customer requested OS template. Me and many other who received the VPS, it was installed with the wrong OS. I think many people chose Debian or Ubuntu but received CentOS

    Same problem, select CentOS 7 but:

    cat /etc/redhat-release

    try to reboot after upgrade to know your VPS still working or not after reboot.
