    No that is wrong.

    Its the 7402

But the 7402 has NOR gates and no open collector outputs!
It's much easier to use NAND gates.

7402 is used still because the rats are powering it up.

    That's because you're an unstable 555.

    Let me clarify.

The reason for all the outages is that the servers and datacenter are powered up by rats/hamsters - they go round in circles and that produces kinetic energy which then powers up the servers.

Some times cats come and that is why the servers go up and down all the time.

The rats use 7402 processors in them which isn't advanced enough to prevent the cat attacks.

can I create an encrypted fs on this before pushing my data for backup? Thanks

You can create a LUKS image on it, not a filesystem. I routinely do this with OpenVZ storage, and then use a KVM along with sshfs to interact with that image.

This is such a bad idea for ploop. Such a bad fucking idea. E: See sig.

    How is this bad?

Yep any update/upgrade stops internet connectivity due to kernel issues.
I had VPS running before with ubuntu 17 for 4 months no issues.

Anyway added another ticket to see what can be done now..

Lmfao no. You have literally two threads filled with suggestions and providers linking you deals with high clocked cores; try asking again next week.

I'm still waiting on an OS re-install because I can't see any options in the panel even using different browsers.

This is the fix for the ubuntu 16 update. I had the same issue and it took a lot of rebuilds to figure it out but removing /var from the line d /var/run/sshd 0755 root root to read instead: d /run/sshd 0755 root root fixed the issue for me

  • Anyone else getting slow connection after the rebuild?

  • Just curious. What are you guys doing with your storage VPS?

To me, it's not even suitable for storing p0rn collections. Imagine your server crashes every time you open a pack of tissue.

  • Primarily second tier off-site backups. I keep two copies locally and two copies remotely. This is my first time it has died but I'm just re-uploading it.

Similarly static backups on mine. It had a period of extended downtime / low performance when I first got it because of the onrush of orders and pre-upgraded network at that time, but aside from that it's mostly worked fine and I haven't seen any data loss. I'm happy with the server but I knew what I was getting into when I bought it. There are other products that I'd consider more solid in terms of capabilities, but they tend to cost more and have different intangibles. The main thing is to take everything into account when deciding whether to go forward. Don't just look at price and specs.
