Well, the plan was, to route gmail over mxroute.
Even the emails land into inbox at hotmail.

GMail things, not sure if that helps but I will look into that.

  • Hi Neoon, could you please have a look at the Hetzner dedis?

I sorted the table by "Price per TB" and it seems the Storage is not matching the actual specs.

That's the spec for the dedi highlighted in blue.

That's the spec for the dedi highlighted in blue.

Known bug on Hetzner's API, reported over 1 week ago, they did not gave a single fuck fixing it yet.

Apparently 1TB Storage is 1024GB and not 1000GB, so it ends up with with an incorrect result.

Eh, no. I wont add a Slack chat, there is an API, you could send notifications to slack.
    Discord + IRC is enough.

You always get insulted, it does not matter if a person working behind it, does provide it for free. Thats irrelevant.

It goes even down to DDoS attacks and death threats, we had that on FireFlyGaming.
If you are getting DDoS attacks, you know you got famous, since people do care about you.

metaDedi is close to 1 Year old, 404 "looser", the rest was discussed.

Epic fail. When insulting someone like that, it's critical you actually spell it correctly, so you don't look like the loser.

    Loser=person
looser=like clothing fitting on a person

Tip to remember. Say "goose". That's similar to "loose", so you know to use "lose".

I'll have to see if the offers are more likely to be valid with this update. Checked the other day, and maybe only 2 or of about 8 offers I checked worked.

Also, it displayed USD as euros. When currency was changed to USD, the USD prices all went up to not be the real price.

It was useful to discover providers in the price ballpark, and then I'd just check the actual deal details with the provider site. But it was a while since I last used this site, and my recollection was that I didn't run into any major issue before, unlike the other day.

Edit: not seeing the USD issue today. Maybe I had a script blocker causing problems. Checked on mobile just now but was using desktop before.

Also, I'd probably allow USA as well as US for country, as well as ignore case, so Us works.

    • metaDedi runs now every check in a single thread, which means we could go from 10 minutes interval down to 1 minute check interval.
Currently only a few checks run at 1 minute interval, which run out of stock to quickly, most of them run at 10 minutes. Plan is, to run anything later at 1 Minute interval, we go down step by step to ensure it works well.

Every price on the page, is international, means VAT may apply.
Makes no sense to list pricing with someones country VAT.

But, it would be possible, to put a dropdown on the page, where you can select your Country and the system will apply VAT. The only drawback on this is, its kinda complicated, to what country what kind VAT applies.

Also some US/CA companies do not charge EU VAT even if they should charge.
Its complicated and not easy to solve.
