Are the tickets still open? Any response? I have reinstalled OS and have not had issues.
Ovh just delivered another KS16G with E3 and 2x1TB disks, so they're working on them as we speak
I thought netboot is not availablr eith kimsufi servers?
@trexos it is
Ok nice. But looks like it is buggy.
@trexos why? choose netboot, enable rescue pro and reboot, doesnt work?
Olesovhcom @: @ jcbedier at 1000 KS-2G / week, I will reopen in late September before ordering. Unless Intel accelerates the prod
Received my KS2G today, paid on the 25th with Paypal. N2800.
1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 6.852 s, 157 MB/s
You guys are getting bigger speeds than me, almost double, I envy you...
@Davee
Well, I found this on the same forum:
So basically, there are more like me with 214704* that were not delivered yet
You shouldn't buy a server from them, if you use udp services, they limit outgoing udp to 5mbps / server and they have a lot of false positives and mass disconnects regarding udp services.
How can I test that?
Hm, I never throttled to 5 mbps with UDP.
Cite your sources please because I am pretty sure this is 100% false.
Thank you.

I don't know if those settings are still in effect though.
They are and they're lower for kimsufi servers.
Total b/s, just tested - I can receive 47 Mbit UDP to my Kimsufi, send 66 Mbit, and that's while not even bothering to turn off Tor, which at the same time consumes around 30-40 Mbit.
How do you test that?
@trexos: need two hosts, Kimsufi and some other (better if in EU and on gigabit):
One will send traffic for 10 seconds, the other side will receive it.
Receiving side:
Sending side:
Swap these in order to test speeds in the other direction.
Maybe 10 seconds is too short to trigger the protection.
@rm_ please test it for 10 mins / 60 mind
I got my KS2G (214716XX).
Uncle got his too. Paid with paypal. it looks like being a provider and paying with a business account means you are less likely to resell than a regular person paying with a personal account.
He will try to transfer it to me, see if that is possible :P
As I see everybody got it who paid by PayPal on 25th not after.
I still waiting my first order. Maybe I get it today.
Spending my time, Watching the days go by, Feeling so small, I refresh my email and stare at the wall, Hoping that OVH thinks of me too
The question was whether or not there is a speed limit on UDP. I demonstrated that there is not.
I think you have a number of servers yourself, go and test on them. I am not going to waste my bandwidth for 10/60 minutes just to prove you something. Tor makes a better use of that b/w than this.
Olesovhcom @: @ Quentin__M KS-16G raid was still struggling. Tomorrow nvelles pairs of arms arrive to lend a hand. We must rise to 1400 SD / j
@rm_ Then it's their arbor protection that randomly drops udp connection when they raise to 5mbps outgoing
@tr1cky There are others with UDP issues as well. Perhaps try to test the udp like rm_ demonstrated but use it for 10 mins
