    • if pay by PayPal, then setup fee
    • if pay by credit card, then no setup fee

    I paid with PayPal. I also used my existing Kimsufi account with 2 other servers on it if that means anything.

    And you paid the setup fee, right? So that's consistent with the generalization.

    I ordered my 4th KS server, payed with PP and no setup fee.

    A friend of mine had the same.

    Setup fee was indeed charged via card payment, still a nice promotion though.

    So, in the interest of science and curiosity (excuses for more 2TBs), I paid using a CC directly and got the 10 euros charged too. Perhaps there're other factors at play. I should get out of here before more experiments that cost 17 euros happen.

    paid by existing account paypal, no setup fee.
    server delivered in 2 mins. but configuration no surprise, got what it declared.

    Just a wily employee of the data center could not make an installment payment.

    Disk are old, average works time 20-30k hours.

    They can not fix the GAME-3 SoYouStart tariff for a month already, it's impossible to buy FailOver IP.

    @Aidan @caracal I've also paid via credit card on the first page and I wasn't even chagred (check with bank). On the second page I was invoiced for 8€ and had to enter my CC detials again. I paid using MasterCard, how about you? Maybe the first page accepts only Visa (lol?)?

    Just ordered with existing account, showed setup fee and VAT on check out screen.

    After order was processed using a credit card VAT and setup fee was removed

    Total charge 6.99 €
