• I have some hosting on one (just personal stuff really via VestaCP) the other hosts things like Teamspeak3 servers for friends, etc. Need to make more use of them but I lack the time at present! The other two are outsourced because of this.

@thehray IRC bots? I've not used anything like that for YEARS - back in the days of the MSN IRC servers (egg drops) just to keep rooms open, etc.

@nexmark Ahm sorry but i can read only: We Host Porn.

• The founder of online.net (or better: Free.fr/Iliad) started his career by hosting 'porn' - Minitel rouge or rosé, if I remember right...

• Any idea if this will be restocked ? need one.. thanks

• @nahsha: Please have a look in this thread... it seems nobody knows (if it would ever be restocked)

• they're going to restock exactly @midnight of your timezone. so don't go away shooting new years rocket - at least if you wont miss 'em ;-) ;-)

Thanked by 1netomx
• Stop misinforming users. No company will restock on midnight of new year, no matter the timezone. It is extremely unlikely to see that from Online.Net. Last offer was on Black Friday, because it was Black Friday and they wanted attention through all that internet offers.

• @default, you should definitely work on your sarcastic skills.
You're missing them out! :D

• Do they have a limit on how many you can have?

Got a couple with 500gb hdd last time as well, have anyone needed to replace those and what did you get in return if so?

Kidechires with 500GB HDD?

Some were delivered with that, yes.

only the ones within the first minute after restock!

• it was funny!
The monitor dedi check (http://www.online.net/en/dedicated-server/dedibox-kidechire) is back UP (Keyword Exists) (It was down for 6 minutes and 29 seconds).
UptimeRobot isn't the most reliable thing in the world though.

Hah. I just spun up my 4th box and to my surprise i'm one of the lucky one's to get a 500GB HDD ;)

root@observium:/home/jerome# fdisk -l

Disk /dev/sda: 500.1 GB, 500107862016 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 60801 cylinders, total 976773168 sectors
Units = sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 4096 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 4096 bytes / 4096 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x00009cd1

So, following the lottery model there too, huh? After OVH gives 2 TB drives to some ks-1s at random, online.net gives 500 mb disks to a few of their kidechires :P

How did you manage to get another one?:D
Anyway, my two have the 160GB hdds.

Maybe he was just checking now his hd?

By opening a ticket they increase the purchase limit per person.

Finally spun up my 4th box (old purchase). I have 4 and previously i'd only bothered to install the first 3 as the 4th was a spare. I just spun it up and i'm very happy to find a 500GB drive attached ;)

I've never had an issue or been required to do this? I have 4 boxes and i've never had to open a ticket to purchase them. What is the current purchase limit?

Sometimes they impose a limit on the account for how many services you can have active.

Ah I already thought that :P

My limit is 10

• There was a limit the first time they were sold. I think they might have gotten rid of it after that.
