  • mine was done in 5 days (3 working days to be exact).. heard others took a month or even 3 to got validated! LoL

  • Its a great deal if you are looking for a proxy server that provides DDoS protection.

  • NeoonNeoon Community Contributor, Veteran

Nah, the greate deal was a Year ago at these boxes you can turn on/off ddos protection by hand.

  • I still don't get who has/will get 1Gbit port.

Might be wrong but isnt it only RBX* that is getting the port upgrade?

  • None of us really knows. :D We're just expecting referring to a tweet that the older RBXs will get some.

Any one have the Link? from the RBX1 Upgrade to Gbit?

  • Ordered (2) KS-2 in France

Got one with a 2TB hard drive with 80hrs on it, the other only had the 1TB with 9840hrs.

Was really hoping to get both at 2TB but at least I got 1 of them.

Wow that sucks, I wonder did you order 2 at once (quantity 2)?

Maybe you'd have more luck if ordering one by one in separate orders.

Ordered KS-3 on BHS and only got 1 TB HDD :( perhaps because I use the Kimsufi European account. But the disk is pretty good around 1700 power on hours and decent I/O speed.

  • Did they completely stop offering KS-1 in Canada?

  • Did they ever offer it in Canada?

  • KS-1 was listed on the US and Canadian sites at first but wasn't available (probably why they took it off). The last actual KS-1 BHS availability was in in June on the European sites.

I think you could ask for full refund before install the OS, while check the CPU/MEM/DISK spec from the server_certificate file in server installation mail?

@netomx @msg7086 We will receive such mail from OVH such as "Installation of your dedicated server xxxxxx" when your server ready, in this mail there is an attahment PDF file that you could open and find the CPU/MEM/DISK test result, like N2800 2G 500G/D425 4G 1T or something like that, if you find the server were not 2T/N2800, then you could post in their forum to ask for full refund with oreder ID in 7 days or 14 days, just NOT install any.OS. I think it's allowed to get full refun then via their rule.
but actully I didnt do this thing, if any other can give such experience proof it's really appreciate

I know, but I didn't find any way to ask for the refund.

So 50 EUR wasted on setup fees, and 50 more for 5 servers idling for a month, couldn't you have just waited a month or two until the KS2 becomes officially 2TB (on the website).
