    Bigass varnish cache.

Also, web spiders tend to eat a pretty amount of ram.

  • I been interested in one of the 6GB plans for a small project.
Moodle hosting (non profit) a lot of teachers in my city are looking to use an e learning system but most schools don't have the budget to cover blackboard (most admins don't want to deal with server administration duties so they recommend it) or some teachers work as part-time (1 or 2 classes only as they are professionals on their field).
The only downside of the plan, is storage, it gets a bit short on 30GB.
Also offloaded mysql is only available at Dallas.

I'm kinda in the same boat as @thekreek. 6GB sounds perfect for running Atlassian products (Jira+Confluence+Bamboo). But the 30GB is sadly too tight.

Another use for the 6GB would be an Elasticsearch server. That gobbles up memory like no tomorrow.
