  • @Damian said: UPS quick quote on 45 lbs from 85048 to 49660 is $57.80

Wow, the shipping is more then the hardware itself.

  • 2 servers, same specs each

    dual quad AMD 2350
    16gb ram
    no drives

one is a 1U 4 hot swap, the other is a 2U with 8 hot swap, take $600 for the pair + shipping 2U has rack rails, no rails for 1U I also have some extra ram to throw in, no idea what size, I think it is another 16gb of 2gb sticks for these.

  • @bijan588: $26.75

@FTNChris: I just ran through it with USPS, and got $41.88 for Parcel Post.

    Price?

  • MrDOSMrDOS Member

@DanielM: Whoops, forgot you were in the UK. Server price is right, but shipping would be prohibitive. Thanks anyway.

@Damian said: Yours for $50 apiece. We have at least 5 we're getting rid of.

I might be interested in one for a home server if the shipping cost is right, what's the shipping cost to 10016 NYC?

    Thanks!

  • @FTN_Kevin: $62.69 via UPS ground, $48.81 via USPS parcel post.

I am in need of harddrives urgently so If i can take the harddrives only off your hands then that would be great.

  • netomxnetomx Moderator, Veteran

I'm very tempted, but is there another cheaper way to ship it to Laredo? USPS maybe?

  • That are Netburst Xeons?

  • Guys, even if they are free shipping from Austria to Mexico would cost a fortune.

  • It would cost more then goose and hen to ship?

  • JacobJacob Member

@bijan588 Since when have you shipped goose and hens. :D

  • @netomx said: are they cheap?

    yes

@Damian, are any of those servers still unclaimed? What's shipping like to B4P 2R6 (Canada)?

  • @MrDOS: So far no. What's your preferred shipping method for receiving things from the US?

  • MrDOSMrDOS Member

@Damian: In general, either UPS or FedEx would be fine. USPS large parcel shipping should also be OK. Then again, I've never shipped a server, so I have no idea how that affects things.

  • UPS is $126.04

    USPS is $135.45

    That's pretty terrible!
