maybe better if @angstrom and @DP suspend all their accounts

Technically, they're different brands and they had obtained permission (not from me) to register a different account for each brand

That said, it's the same guy behind the different brands, and so we certainly don't expect a smiley as a reply in this situation

I may be wrong, but based on my own back-and-forth experiences with this host's support, I've gotten the impression that this host isn't really in control of the infrastructure they sell.
I mean literally - it feels as if they're just reselling someone else's infrastructure or something.

No matter what happened, for example, when the network was down or a VPS wasn't synced with the control panel after their migration, the best they could tell me was always and I really mean always "Try changing the IP. Change it as many times as needed and eventually it will work".
And of course, it didn't. The system kept assigning me various IPs and gateways that weren't even related to any active location. And they couldn't do a shit.
I've been with them for years, but some of the things that happened with them lately were, honestly, catastrophic. For example, at one point they closed some of their locations and automatically migrated customers to the closest available location. In my case, they migrated me to Austria, which wasn't even active at that point, so naturally there was no way to get that VPS online.
But they didn't even know it- they didn't realize, that host node I was assigned to don't exist and that's why my VPS don't work.

Or at one point, when they migrated their old location to MOW2, the VPS wasn't synced with the control panel, so none of the controls worked. Yet they insisted that I swap the IP, reinstall the VPS, or move it to another location. How was I supposed to do any of that when everything was greyed out because the VPS wasn't synced with the control panel?
    And so on...
I'm pretty sure you people don't get answers simply because the host can't give them to you as it's not actually in control of that infrastructure. That's the only logical explanation here.
Just go through some of your own tickets and you'll realize that the person answering you often doesn't have a basic understanding of what you're talking about or what they're supposed to do. And it’s not a language barrier. As if they weren't even in the hosting industry.

Hello! Thank you for your detailed feedback and for your long-standing partnership. We understand your frustration: when a VPS is inaccessible, the control panel is unresponsive, and the provided recommendations don’t help, the situation clearly requires a thorough investigation.
We will look into the migrations you mentioned, the network settings, and the synchronization between the VPS and the control panel. We will also pay close attention to your correspondence with our support team—it is important to determine why you were advised to take steps that, according to your account, were not actually possible to perform.
Could you please provide one of your support ticket numbers? We will cross-reference your support history with the technical data and involve the relevant specialists. We are committed to examining each of the instances you described so that we can provide a clear explanation of the root causes and outline potential solutions.

I actually got around 20, not bad to start the day o:)

I also got one from Servers Guru due to a single AbuseIPDB complaint. And someone else got one from SiteHub due to a single AbuseIPDB complaint (from xmission). I wonder if some popular blacklist aggregator that many providers use started suddenly including every single AbuseIPDB complaint in their feed.

Yeah, those two will suspend for literally one AbuseIPDB report. I've tried have them understand how absurd that is, but they ignored me. It's only a matter of time until someone floods their subnets and they'd be forced to change their shit, like it's already happened previously with VeloxMedia.

    By the way, :joy:

@antonpa Yet again I had three false-positive reports resulting in service restriction, and I feel like I'm being ignored. This has been going on for multiple threads now. We were told we could run Globalping, but we are repeatedly being suspended for non-malicious activities that are allowed within your ToS.

Please answer us simply: Is Globalping no longer allowed?

@angstrom Is there anything that can be done with a provider that is ignoring customers repeatedly? Even just asking them to look into this issue would be helpful, because they are taking actions not covered by their ToS and suspending for actions they have said were allowed.

    And the awesome copy-pastes:

@angstrom it would be good if we could get some feedback from the mod/admin team about what's been going on with this provider.

@antonpa here's the tickets about the move from Zagreb to Tirana. As usual, your support ignores anything I say in the ticket.
    958865
    949251

It's just insane to me that you just close the ticket with no option to even reply after any interaction with your support. You literally scammed me by moving my server to a different location without even telling me and you're refusing a refund, to literally account credit.

Can you also clarify since when this policy has been applied?

    https://support.justhost.ru/en/support/solutions/articles/151000211327-affiliate-program hasn't changed since 2025.

I wish all your subnets in AS26383, AS398343, AS59878, AS51659, AS49392 never get mass reported in AbuseIPDB so no one sees your flawed system.

@forest literally happened what you called them for:

People, if you have what you feel is a legitimate criticism or complaint of @antonpa / JUST.HOSTING, please post your criticism or complaint, trying to justify your claims

@antonpa The issue is that you're not responsive. You've been repeatedly suspending our servers due to false positive complaints. In @zGato's case, you've even permanently suspended some of them, despite neither of us violating a single rule in your terms of service. The same has been happening to other people.

You have to realize that a single entry on AbuseIPDB means nothing. The one and only thing that matters is the overall score. I'm guessing the issue is that these reports are coming in from your LIR, but you should do what other reputable hosts here do and only forward them if they become excessive. Otherwise you aren't providing the services paid for.

Here is what has happened so far:

    1. You began suspending whenever one of your IPs even contacted an IP that had a bad reputation, as if a Tor middle relay connecting to an exit was a problem. Every time we tried to explain why that was not a solution, we were given non-answers. Thankfully I haven't received any more issues with that particular aspect of your security system, but it caused a lot of headache and downtime.
    2. An ISP called XMission runs a Tor exit. For whatever reason, they had a broken script which would occasionally report other Tor relays incorrectly. This has resulted in many suspensions issued by you, when no other host I am with has done that. I actually had to directly contact XMission's network engineering team and managed to get them to fix their script, all because you've been suspending for a single false positive.
    3. A researcher used Globalping to try to determine reachability of certain URLs on websites that were commonly used for exploitation. The website's WAF automatically reported the Globalping probe IPs. Despite this being a false positive, it also resulted in suspension (uniquely among your services). I had to reach out to the website and request that they remove the report. Of the thousands of IPs reported, only the ones hosted on your infrastructure were suspended, all over a false-positive.

If you're going to contact us every time someone sends a spoofed SYN to a website or every time some firewall blocks us, that's fine, but you should have a human listen to our explanation and write a note for our account so that the next report of a similar type can be looked at with greater context. You should not treat each false-positive report as a violation, especially when your ToS says nothing about that. We are not spammers, your security system is just broken.

You need to be more communicative. Genuinely communicative, not just posting AI text about how you're sorry for the delay and saying that you'll only explain things through tickets. We've both been trying to get your attention through multiple threads. We've been polite and patient. We haven't opened new threads. We just ask for a real person to respond.

I understand that you're dealing with a lot of abuse. I'm sure you're looking for some way to curb that abuse. But when your loyal, long-term customers are complaining that you're falsely suspending them over and over, you should listen to them and whitelist their account. We're obviously not spammers or abusers, and you should not treat a community member with several 5-year prepaid services or a community member with 30+ services from you the same as you should treat a new customer from China paying monthly who gets 5 abuse reports within the first 24 hours.

At the end of the day, @antonpa, we're on the same team. We want to give money you for services and you want to give services for money, and both of us hate spammers and abusers. I like you and I like your service. I've been an advocate for your service and I've recommended you to people in other threads, but this lack of communication when we're receiving false abuse reports has left me feeling very uncomfortable. Were not abusers, so please stop treating us like abusers.

Hello! Thank you for providing a detailed description of the situation. We understand your frustration regarding the repeated restrictions. To provide a well-founded response, we need to cross-reference your complaints with technical data and our previous correspondence. Please continue the discussion within the support ticket; our specialists will review your explanations, provide a detailed account of the reasons for the restrictions and the terms for continued use of our services, and do their best to assist you.

@zGato said: angstrom also ignored my PM and is ignoring us here, so I guess we have to play with our wallet and with our ability to post comments and reviews.

Try opening a ticket with LET. That's the only way I've gotten moderator attention before. I think they ignore PMs.

For the record, we don't ignore PMs, but sometimes, it's not immediately clear how to act on a PM. (Also, most of us are volunteers)

(Speaking for myself, I try to respond to most PMs)

Appreciate the work you guys do, but you also have to understand me (or us, if someone feels the same way as me) that this has been going on for several threads with no feedback whatsoever.

At least something happened. And on the plus-side, we've all been very meticulous in documenting what has happened in the other threads, so there's plenty for @antonpa to go back and read about.

And look, all we want is for things to be made right. We're not asking for money or free stuff. All we want is:

    1. Unfairly-suspended services to be unsuspended based on the evidence we provide
    2. Future abuse reports to be judged by their merit and past context, so that false-positives do not result in suspensions
    3. More communication going forward, so that we can explain if there is a misunderstanding

Basically, if a false abuse report comes in from your LIR or your security system catches something that it thinks is malicious, let us give evidence that it is a false-positive, and don't suspend us no matter how many times it happens, because we are neither responsible for nor capable of avoiding false-positive reports.

As for how to do this, just annotate our accounts for your support staff to see with some message like:

This user is not a spammer but has been receiving false-positive reports. Please do not act on minor reports.

And be a little more active on the forum. Without AI replies. Without cold, corporate responses. Just be a human with us from time to time, so if we have an issue, we can comfortably talk about it with you instead of feeling like we're talking to a corporate YandexGPT-flavored brick wall.

Hello! Thank you for providing your suggestions in such detail. Please continue the conversation within the existing support ticket; our specialists will review your evidence, inform you whether service restoration is possible, and explain the procedure for handling follow-up appeals. We are committed to resolving this situation and continuing our cooperation.
