Because of this 2010 rule, I think you should at least still allow accounts to be accessible, but exclusively to the ticket support system; if you lock their access, then stuff like this eventuates. If they genuinely spam the ticket support system just internally mute.

he doesnt give a fuck about it. as long admin here not ban him from using this platform, more and more will become victims

    • Server Failed on September 27th
    • Three remote power cycles did not bring it back.
    • When an MD unit fails, we replace it. If no replacement unit is available, the last paid month is refunded to credit fully, even if mostly used. Dedicated servers are non refundable, always. Same rules for everyone.
    • Credit took longer than it should have; This is now fixed.

Account was closed for repeatedly attempting to go around ticket queue and support processes, including DMs. Not the first time. Certainly won't be the last time if rewarded by constant attention or special treatment.

We part our ways with customers who try to get special treatment. Including cases of misleading statements. Support goes through ticketing, for every customer. No exceptions. We have been doing this since 2010, and many of our customers from that first year are still with us.

Tickets only. No exceptions. Same rules since 2010.

so basically , you're saying that if someone buys a dedicated server and it dies for whatever reason , there's no refund at all , even if you can't replace the dedicated server .. and if that same individual spams the ticket support system asking for human updates after waiting a long time for support and tries to reach out to the owner through other methods , you'll simply suspend their account ..

so basically , this is daylight robbery .. customers buy services from PulseMedia for cheap prices , and everything else is based on their luck .. that's it .. or am i reading this wrong?

i can understand if an individual customer is extremely irritating , but completely nuking their account while they still have credit in it is a terrible move for a provider whose sole job is to sell their services ..

you stole their money and happy that you're getting away with it, so amazing!

I am not sure why anyone is surprised and/or complaining. This provider's entire reputation on reddit is of a seedbox provider who operates under the expectation that if you need his services, you aren't going to bring official attentino (chargebacks/lawsuits/etc). Ergo great as long as the service works; you're up shitVaimmomommom Creek if things don't work. End of story.

It's like begging for a refund from a torrent site or usenet indexer directly. Your money has been laundered before you filled out the registration captcha.

OP waited for 10 days... and you still couldn't resolve it properly and you could NOT deliver the service OP paid for.
I really don't get it: you've banned the OP because of many DMs?.. Just ignore his (support) DMs.... is that a hard thing for you to do? Whereas banning requires an action from you. You should have taken action to fix your (💩 shitty 💩) server instead! Or even replace or refund earlier!
This time the OP did not commit fraud or usage abuse.
    This is: blame shifting!

    Customer support: 0 pts
    Decision making quality: 0 pts

and this is regardless of AI or not.

Make it right and restore his access.

It sounds like: Ai tokens cost money so much easier to ban the paid customers to avoid high cost of Ai usage.

The provider is fully validated to sell on lowendtalk so the customer and his rented dedicated server at fault as no scammers on lowendtalk 🤡

There is more then enough information about vainamoinen on this forum. If user knows that and still subscribe for the service - he is just stupid or mazohistic.

And it is not scam to earn from stupid people if taxes are paid.

It was a clear red flag when they had that giant slop post singing praises about how they can now run a 1-man company and apparently still serve customers, when historically they have had many complaints of poor support. Buyer beware and make sure to always ignore that slop.

Just curious though if we going to endure through their spam in BF megathread again - probably yes lol.

Thank you for finally providing a human response, though the justification for your actions is deeply concerning and frankly unacceptable.

    To address your claims directly:

    • "Special Treatment" vs. Basic Support: Waiting over 10 days in an AI-generated support loop without a single human escalation is not a functioning "ticket queue." Expecting a resolution—or at least a human reply—after a week and a half of downtime is not asking for special treatment. It is expecting the basic service I paid for.
    • Bypassing the Queue: I reached out via DMs and this forum strictly as a last resort because your ticketing system was effectively a dead end handled by an unhelpful AI. When official channels fail during a critical, prolonged outage, customers will naturally seek alternative ways to contact management.
    • Lack of Communication: If the server hardware failed on September 27th and no replacement units were available, why was this not clearly communicated to me in the ticket at the time? Leaving a customer in the dark for 10 days and then penalizing them for trying to get answers is a massive operational failure on your end.
    • Retaliatory Account Closure & Kept Funds: Terminating a loyal customer's account simply because they publicly and politely documented their frustrating experience is an incredibly hostile business practice. To make matters worse, because I paid in cryptocurrency, I have no ability to request a chargeback. You have abruptly closed my account and kept my funds, leaving me with no service and no financial recourse.

If this is your standard operating procedure, the community absolutely deserves to know.

Finally, I expected more from the administration and moderation team here at LET regarding this type of behavior. I am asking the mod team (and @jbiloh) to please comment on this situation. Is it acceptable on this platform for providers to retaliate against, abruptly ban users, and keep their non-refundable crypto payments just because they opened a thread about a legitimate 10-day outage and a broken support process?

A business model that punishes customers for the provider's own lack of communication and inadequate support infrastructure is simply not right.

PulsedMedia is the worst provider I've ever signed up with - ever.

There's regularly several days of downtime, tickets used to be answered extremely rudely days late by a human before getting replaced by the most incompetent AI I've ever seen. AI tickets don't seem to ever get any human intervention no matter how much it hallucinates. Their entire infra was down for several days recently because they couldn't even mitigate a DDoS to get their own site online.

    It's a joke of a service.

I don't understand why they still have a provider tag.

  • LeviLevi Veteran

OP has been very reasonable and respectful. @pulsedmedia targeted and scammed him simply for making a mundane LET post

@jbiloh I hope you're getting more than $200 from this scum. It does more damage than you might realize

  • edited October 29

Every time I think I already hate PulsedMedia enough, they suddenly stoop to a new low.

So many hosts have been banned from this forum for running much less sketchy operations and I don't understand why this one hasn't.

My first experience with them was seeing they had some good prices on storage servers with upfront payment. So I emailed them to ask them if there was any guarantee on this several thousand dollar upfront product and a human told me no, they can cancel it any time any reason without refund. So they reserve themselves the right to just take money and not supply any service. Needless to say I didn't get my storage server with them.

Later I tried one of their black Friday deals because it was cheap. Terrible experience, terrible performance, website bugs that prevented me signing in, and despite having my CC on file they somehow failed to bill it for the second month and terminated my account, of course prematurely ending the Black Friday deal price.

I was tempted to try one of their $2 latest offers. I am sure the same thing will happen but it's only $2. But I'm starting to get the impression this is their business model, taking money and then providing the least service legally permissible.

I don’t think it’s fair to dumb down something terrible to something very innocent either. Just using AI is one thing, having it define your service to the point it affects customer support is another.

Cancelling a provider because of some dispute is lame.
