PulsedMedia Terminated My Account in Retaliation for Seeking Support

eKoeKo Member

Hi everyone,

I wanted to provide a final update on my previous thread regarding my PulsedMedia dedicated server, which had been offline for 10+ days while I was stuck in their AI support loop.

Unfortunately, instead of receiving help from a human technician to simply reboot the server, PulsedMedia decided to issue a credit to my account and then immediately close/ban my account entirely.

This was done without warning and appears to be direct retaliation for my original LowEndTalk thread, where I politely documented my prolonged outage and their broken AI support system. Rather than fixing a basic operational issue, they chose to ban a paying, loyal customer for bringing it up publicly.

The resulting situation:
* My active, fully-paid server was terminated.
* My account was closed.
* I was locked out of my client area.

Proof of Account Closure/Ban:
* Access via VPN: https://i.ibb.co/n8g4wPW6/Screenshot-2026-10-20-at-17-57-59.png
* Access from direct IP: https://i.ibb.co/k65ghNLT/Screenshot-2026-10-20-at-17-53-35.png

I have reached out to @jbiloh regarding this situation but haven't received a response yet. I am making this follow-up thread primarily as a warning to the LET community. If you do business with @PulsedMedia , be aware that you are dealing with a provider that not only traps you in an AI support loop during extended outages, but will actively penalize and ban you if you seek external community help.

Thank you again to those who offered advice in the previous thread.

Best regards,
eKo

    It's nice they were upfront on the ban reason.

    Confused why LET Selling Rules Misc 4 isn't invoked:

    If you are found to be misleading customers or using ethically questionable practices that may result in financial loss to customers, your Patron Provider tag will be changed to a Host Rep tag and you will not be able to post offers.

    OP lost number of days access. OP was stuck in a support loop with allegedly unreasonable costs to access actual support. OP was allegedly credited but can't use it because his of account was allegedly terminated = financial/time loss to customer. Now I use the term allegedly repeatedly here, because it's still possible the OP may not have revealed the entire truth, but the lack of response and transparency from the "Patron Provider" and the overall community consensus regarding this provider, I think we can give them the benefit of the doubt.

    For reference this should be how a real "Patron Provider" of LET responds: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/4893722/#Comment_4893722

    I am 99% SLA that he's not using any chargeback-able method of such examples, cause those mean traceable.
    (SLA = Surely Likely Accurate)

    They're just a bunch of savages. Providers like this don't deserve to exist in the market.

    • Server Failed on September 27th
    • Three remote power cycles did not bring it back.
    • When an MD unit fails, we replace it. If no replacement unit is available, the last paid month is refunded to credit fully, even if mostly used. Dedicated servers are non refundable, always. Same rules for everyone.
    • Credit took longer than it should have; This is now fixed.

    Account was closed for repeatedly attempting to go around ticket queue and support processes, including DMs. Not the first time. Certainly won't be the last time if rewarded by constant attention or special treatment.

    We part our ways with customers who try to get special treatment. Including cases of misleading statements. Support goes through ticketing, for every customer. No exceptions. We have been doing this since 2010, and many of our customers from that first year are still with us.

    Tickets only. No exceptions. Same rules since 2010.

    Really? You close accounts when people try to get a human involved because your broken bot is stuck in a loop?

    That's another way of saying you terminated them because they posted on LET rather than submitting to a broken clanker.

    Shame on you.

    You didnt a dog AI in 2010 that is purely incapable of doing what i needs to and you ban when it can't.

    The bot is looping because OP insists to get the minidedi fixed by remote hand. Instead, this class of instance have scheduled maintenance. Obviously to keep the price down.
    If you were him, what would you do? Would you tolerate oblivious support-related-anxiety-causing DMs everytime message notification pops up, thus sucking the joy of browsing this website?

    Because of this 2010 rule, I think you should at least still allow accounts to be accessible, but exclusively to the ticket support system; if you lock their access, then stuff like this eventuates. If they genuinely spam the ticket support system just internally mute.

    He will get DM's regardless, problem isn't OP's strategy it's the fact one is needed. Countless people on here have hit real problems using his support that it's incapable of understanding or solving and it's prompted to never allow for human pass-over.
