Thanks @dustinc and RackNerd for the FREE 4GB LA VPS! I installed AdminBolt on it using One Click Apps in RackNerd ctrl, and here are my first impressions.

  What I liked:

  • The one-click install was fast and painless, with no SSH needed
  • The UI is clean and modern, and it's easy to find things
  • Web, PHP, database, email, DNS and SSL all work out of the box
  • The temporary domain is handy for testing a site before pointing DNS
  • Live resource usage (disk, bandwidth, inodes) is nice to have at a glance
Overall a solid, modern alternative to cPanel/DirectAdmin for small servers. I'll keep using it and look forward to the updates. #AdminBolt Rocks!

Just wanted to drop my feedback on AdminBolt after winning one of the VPS giveaways here:

Install was truly one-click from the RackNerd ctrl panel — no SSH, no manual setup. The setup wizard guided me through creating the admin account, and the verification email arrived within minutes.

First impression of the panel: clean and modern UI, easy to find things. I haven't hosted anything serious on it yet, but going from a fresh VPS to a working control panel in just a few minutes is exactly what a one-click install should do.

Thanks dustinc and RackNerd for the giveaway — I'll report back once I've put it through its paces.
