Just deployed AdminBolt through RackNerd ctrl's one-click apps. The installation completed without issues, and accessing the web panel was straightforward. The UI feels very responsive and clean compared to legacy control panels. Really happy to have this up and running!

I’m so excited I could almost cry! I’ve been following this thread since October 11th—aside from eating, sleeping, and taking care of other necessary tasks, I’ve spent almost all my time glued to this page, constantly refreshing. Every time I stepped away, I’d miss the giveaway, or I just wasn’t fast enough to post—I kept coming so close, yet always missing out. I even commented at one point that I felt like giving up, convinced I just didn’t have the luck for this. But today, I finally caught it—and I was quick enough, too! I actually won the VPS giveaway! My F5 key can finally get some rest! Hahaha!! Thank you so much! @dustinc I’m currently installing AdminBolt. Once it’s ready, I’ll give it a try and then share my thoughts on the experience.

Thanks @dustinc and RackNerd / AdminBolt team, got my VPS (LA DC03, 3C/4GB/60GB) and installed AdminBolt via the one-click app in ctrl. Some quick feedback after a first run:

• One-click install worked smoothly, the ctrl page showed root + panel credentials when done, and the panel came up on a *.myboltip.com hostname with a valid SSL cert right away, which is a nice touch.
• The setup wizard is very short: pick what you use the server for, enter email/name, and it creates the admin login + a first hosting account + a temp website in about a minute.
• Feature set feels complete for a panel at this stage: one-click WordPress, file manager / FTP / Git, MariaDB + phpMyAdmin + Redis, full mail stack (Postfix/Dovecot/Rspamd), PowerDNS with Cloudflare integration, SSL, backups, IP blocker, even AI bot blocking. The built-in AI assistant on the dashboard is an interesting idea.

Small things I noticed:

• The pre-generated password field in the wizard can show a stale "must be at least 10 characters" error after toggling show/hide, I had to retype it before the submit button worked.
• Right after setup the dashboard says "Update status unknown" and "mail ipv6 observation could not be collected", and some PHP versions were still installing in the background. Not a problem, but a short "still finishing setup" note would avoid confusion.
• The raw IP:8443 address gives a self-signed cert warning, maybe redirect it to the myboltip hostname by default.

Overall a good first impression, will keep using it for a few small sites during the trial. Thanks again!

got the box a couple hours ago, AdminBolt went on through the one click apps tab in ctrl with zero issues. honestly the first thing i liked is that it gave me a working temp site under a myboltip subdomain straight away, so i could upload a test page and check https without touching dns at all.

client side looks pretty similar to what you'd get on shared hosting, so if you're coming from cpanel there isn't much to learn. found everything i needed without opening the docs.

only thing that tripped me up: the trial confirmation goes to the email you type in the wizard and i almost missed it. a banner in the panel saying "trial not confirmed yet" would help.

AdminBolt feedback time! Won the 4GB KVM VPS (Los Angeles) in the latest round - thank you @dustinc, RackNerd and AdminBolt!

Installed AdminBolt via the one-click installer in the RackNerd ctrl panel (AlmaLinux 9). The install took about 30 minutes, and the setup wizard was quick and painless - picked "Host my own websites", created my admin account, and the hosting account was ready right away.

First impressions: the panel looks clean and modern, everything is where you'd expect it to be, and it feels fast and light compared to the usual panels. No per-account tax nonsense either. Looking forward to moving a real site onto it. Smooth experience so far!
