While this is not unreasonable due to cost increases across industry/life, I find the timing and support response needing improvements, (that said overall I have been happy and have had no major issues), it is sad as a customer to see:
1. a “deal” be changed after just 6 months of service when listing “Price is locked for as long as the service remains active”.
2. a missing IPMI feature be told it will be soon and never be delivered.
3. a large scale outage that had no communication with customers until restored 22 hours later with “7 day credit” promised and not honored.

Notice: Again, this is not to bash or hate on SolidVPS; overall they have provided a very good service and I have only had to open one ticket to have a custom ISO installed at the start and they completed it quickly and was not going to worry about the missing 7 day credit go until todays price change email.

Takeaway: Just wanted to share (as I am most likely not the only one here impacted); however, at the moment I will continue with SolidVPS even with this price raise (maybe try a support ticket to see if this was just an oversight of their price lock promise) for now, but if any other providers have better deals on a Florida, USA (or southern) dedicated server am in the market for a new Low End Deal. Currently have “Intel Xeon E5-2630v3 / 32GB RAM / 240GB SSD / 1 Ipv4 / 1Gbps Unmetered / $26.95/mo (my usage is extremely light, but I do like to have room for overhead)”

If @SolidVPS views this: My feedback is to please be more mindful of delivering/honoring statements shared with customers. Example,

• revoking promised same price forever “Price is locked for as long as the service remains active”.
• missing IPMI features “available soon”.
• missing outage credit “Credits will be processed automatically and applied directly to affected services within 3-5 business days following full service restoration”).
