Go away troll. FUD is not tolerated here.
Just read here, so simple:

this is ridiculous, perhaps you meant pigs.
I love all these critical servers with no real time back up
Doesn't have to be a death sentence. Some people want servers in Ukraine and can tolerate a chance they break. The invasion's been happening for 4.5 years and this is the first time vsys got hit.
Hit targets differ as war progress. It seems ru targets even more civilian infrastructure such as gas stations, datacenters.
Of course there is those who don’t bother to care, but vsys charges substantial amount of money for their services. I fail to see trade off here.
Slava Ukraini! I hope you get it solved soon. Good to hear that everyone is safe.
You guys shouldn't fault people for using VSYS (or any other UA host). If you use a company for a long time, and the country the company is in is being attacked, most people probably wouldn't leave if they're satisfied with the company. Imagine if every client cancelled when UA was attacked? Every host would be out of business. So if anything you'd probably prefer to use them to support them. Despite the years of Russia attacking civilians, they only recently started attacking private datacenters. This is why backups are important.. (and a recovery plan)
Anyway, hopefully nobody has any important data hosted in datacenters in Moscow.
Hehe

When will you start respecting your customers by replying to their tickets and providing regular updates, as any professional company should?
You post an update every five days and leave your customers completely in the dark, without properly considering the difficult situation they are facing.
What is even more concerning is that, despite the fact that the issue is on your side, you still force us to wait for the Sales Department and only during business hours.
Do you really consider this an acceptable level of respect toward your customers?
I also find it outrageous that they can't stand by the situation and release updates. Other data centers already have their new facilities up and running, whereas vSys just keeps sending automated ticket responses. Some people are told it will be ready in a few weeks, others hear it will take a month, and some customers get no information at all—so how are we supposed to react? Without an official update, we’re just left with more questions about their service.
The MJJs here are amazing.
Both the service and the efficiency are the worst.
Ni Hao!
They updated their webpage yesterday, stating that users could submit a support ticket if they needed access to their data. However, after I submitted a ticket, their reply was identical to the one from the 26th: once a new data center is secured, they will develop a procedure to allow users to back up their data. When I asked for an estimated timeframe, the response was that there is no estimate. Consequently, I have given up hope and am currently rebuilding my business on a different server using a backup from August.
The audacity and self-entitlement is insane!
VSYS:
Meanwhile, MJJs:
**What did you start this thread for? **
There’s no news, and some customers are being ignored—there’s no ETA.
Their website says they’ve been around since 2009; how does a company that’s been in business for nearly 20 years fail to release any updates?
THEY WERE HIT BY A DRONE STRIKE.
Idk man. Unless they were fucking bombed, they have no excuse. /s
Maybe they should utilize cope cage

Should have add the mitigations
Even a five-year-old knows they were bombed—so what? I’m asking for updates on what the other companies are doing so they don't leave their customers in the lurch.
For mjjs who can't and didn't read TOS.
Their own Terms of Service clearly include a force majeure clause covering war and other events beyond their reasonable control.
A missile strike would obviously fall into that category. I honestly don’t see what the provider could realistically have done to prevent or control something like that.
Reading TOS? Naaaah, this is for normal people, I am MJJ, I only write complaints
Activate your disaster recovery plan and let VSYS sort out their situation in an active war zone.
Pretty well-covered there.
Update 1: We have been bombed.
Update 2: Ruins everywhere, lot of water from firefighting. Servers to be seen.
Update 3: Still water and ruins, no sign of servers.
Update 4: Still water and ruins, no sign of servers.
Update 5: Still water and ruins, no sign of servers.
Update 6: Still water and ruins, no sign of servers.
Update 69: Water evaporated, ruins still in place. No servers.
Update 169: Some metal sheets from servers emerge out of ruins. We should be able to assemble few servers from 20 server parts. We are bringing up diesel generators and solar panels, thought, there is little sun in autumn.
Update X: To be continued...
I think exactly the same thing—that the servers are destroyed. They’re just claiming it’s an inspection or something because they don’t want to admit outright that the servers—or rather, all the data—are gone.
The excuses offered above are truly laughable. If all providers were in the same boat, then there would be nothing to criticize. The problem is that other service providers have already restored their dedicated servers. So, do you really have any grounds left to make excuses?
