It was the first time I got a ticket from Väinämöinen, it was an old ticket regarding some let credits that I forgot about, to my surprise I received $50 credits from the agent and a Apology for waiting to much. At first I thought "what a nice new support agent they got at Pulsed" realizing a few days later it was a AI bot.

Got ssh login error while https (user-based path) & http (*.mcx.fi) were normal & torrent(s) were running fine. Also in the ticket, a day after failed ssh login, the rtorrent got the next hammer & can't be controlled from web UI (the https) [Vaina says it depend on the shell for the script on web UI to work, or something like that].
It eventually got fixed, while me doing file transfer via built-in php file manager which sometime fail if the file(s) were too many / large (and other error I forgot what).
Since it just storage for me with extra torrenting feature, I just wait it out while the server happened to have raid array failure & doing rebuild (data were fine, just with advice on web UI to reduce disk related activity for the raid array speedy recovery).
Ticket auto-closed without further complain from me.

DDoS Attacks
One of our subnets were under attack in the weekend. They now restarted, but also targeted our billing server as well.
We host our billing outside of our own network exactly for the reason if something happens to our own network. We chose to use a dedicated instead of VPS with active Anti-DDOS measures for the performance.
L3 (Network layer) DDOS attacks are extremely rare for us; This was the 2nd attack we even noticed.
L7, or application layer, are common daily attempts nearly.
These pass, just a temporary hiccup.
Interestingly, i heard rumours multiple LET providers are being targeted right now.
where do you guys get to know about trophy drops?
They will show up as a "milestones" on the eternal promo page (when not under a DDoS attack)
Otherwise, watching their discord for hints. (I don't have a link right now, but there should be one in various emails from PM and/or on the Pulsed Media dashboard of any seed/storagebox.)
All my machines are unavailable now but it's the same issue as before so hopefully the attacks stop sometime. Nice things etc.

My seedbox was completely down and I was lost on what to do. Väinämöinen gave me constant updates and notified me once the seedbox was back up. All in all, this was a terrific experience.

DDoS Update
Billing Server
We have billing at Hetzner, there too it was L3/L4 attack first, but they progressed to L7 attack, copious amounts of flooded connection opens to :443 which never finish.
Anti-DDoS Service Purchased, Routers Being Upgraded
The good people at FNE has been working the night shift from 00:00 to 05:00 upgrading router firmwares AND even some routers and bigger fatter pipes. Multiple locations, multiple people.
After that is completed, they will enable their DDoS Guard service for us.
ETA is by 12:00 Finnish time everything should be back in working order.
The Good News
All events like these are opportunities in disguise, every problem is. This will grow resilience etc.
Found couple soft spots in our infrastructure during this, which will be hardened after recovery in the nearby weeks. Nothing customer facing, just background stuff, more annoyances than anything else.
Like i friend told me about this incident; Everyone gets pitied, but envy has to be earned.

Had a problem using the export/import torrent config on the web UI (got a 500 error when importing my archive on the new seedbox)
Vaina opened a bug ticket on the github page and offered me a manual workaround in the mean time.
