Although above role does not fit me; I did see another one that piques my interest. Though the ambiguous salary requirement does make it look a bit suspicious; even though that might not be the intention.
This is normal for most American companies (excluding service industry like fast food, restaurants), to not tell what they are willing to pay - you have to tell them what you want, if it's too high they say no, if it's too low they say great.
If I have no prior experience but good at prompting AI, can I have a go.

I thought there were pay transparency laws in parts of the US now where employers have to disclose the lower and upper bounds for a position. Might be state specific rather than a federal requirement though. IIRC places like NJ have something along those lines now.
PS: I had a chat with @MrRadic earlier about one of their other engineering roles. Not affiliated with them, but the engineering/AI workflow he described is pretty far out on the frontier compared to what I've seen elsewhere.
For anyone who actually meets the criteria they're looking for, I'd probably recommend throwing in a resume with your preferred salary requirements.

I'm used to seeing a salary range usually dictated by credentials or years of experience in the field. IMHO having nothing listed wastes both parties time.
Yeah there are but very limited places have those laws. More common in NY and NJ.
Even if they give you a pay range, they still ask you how much you want.
