I have been using KillerOffer for more than half a year. The windows system has always been very stable. During the remote operation, I didn't find any cpu anomalies. Perhaps it's because I haven't specifically tested it, but on a server that costs 3.6 euros per month, with 4h8g100g, Even if it explodes, I'd still praise it for being so loud.

A very special plan for an early bird Hong Kong user! Rush now to get it. (for new users only)

We just released CloudTerm v1.1.0
Try CloudTerm: https://github.com/BradPerbs/cloudterm
Cloud, BLAST !!!!
Little update:
Backups. now it's possible to select the retention time and frequency of the automatic backups.
Console. Now all power actions of the servers has a better feedback with the actual real-time status of the server.
Billing. We have improved the billing tab to make it more user friendly and to allow navigating previous billing periods.
Hey LET,
We've just opened our newest location: Birmingham, UK. Same setup as our other regions, now in the heart of the UK for lower latency to UK/EU users (and a clean option if you need UK data residency).
What you get in Birmingham:
Pricing starts at €3.60/mo for 1 vCPU / 3 GB RAM / 20 GB NVMe. Full plans here: https://cloudblast.io/pricing
Deploy from the console right now: https://cloudblast.io
Happy to answer questions in the thread, and if you run a bench, post your results 👇
i know its an old comment, i just had to
We have 0% CPU steal on all our nodes and locations. The only node with a very limited CPU steal is the only old NL node, which uses the EPYC 7551p, not much we can do about it, planning a replacement/upgrade of the node but will take time sadly.
On your hourly servers, is there any way we can shut down instead of turn down and pay only for storage? That would quite fit a use case I have
Shutting down a VM do not make you pay less, but on VM's you can create a backup, and restore it into a VM only when you need. Keeping a backup most of the times costs just few cents per month.
On the other hand, for Workers if you shut down a worker you do pay only the storage. (CPU Hours, RAM Hours and Bandwidth are not charged).
WTF? What’s wrong with my server? High steal time—reaching as much as 50–60%! Download speeds from neighboring providers in Amsterdam are 50 Mbps.

Is 10 euros for a new account a REQUIRED condition?
I'm planning to open an account and try an HKG server today.
Thanks!
Yep, it's a new accounts requirements, after the first 10 eur deposit you can deposit as low as 1 eur and keep using the hourly billing as you wish.
Bandwidth in our NL locations shouldn't be that bad, and you should test using iperf3.
But if you really need some premium CPU performances I can get you migrated to our UK node with basically equivalent ping.
Yeah, got this mail also, even though I don't have a VPS with them for over 2 years.
You know, in the period of the
And now they are changing their rules - but hey, they still consider themselves the most honest provider out there.
And you could very well know that misuse would take place
Like I said. But hey, let's just limit everyone instead of those few. And even better: make the limit lower as what was originally promised!
No, this is not a fair use model. This is just basic limits. Nothing wrong with that - as long as you deliver what has been promised. And I know from experience that is a bit of an issue with this provider.
If I was still a user, I'd understand the measure. However, if you put these limits in place, you should also give users a chance to stop using the service and give them the remainder of their money back. And that's when CloudBlast shines: in best case they'll do that back to the original deposit and you can't get your money back if you're done with the practices...
I'm glad I'm not a customer of them anymore. And if they react "well, why do you react then?": it's simple: because you send me mail I've not asked for (and I've "unsubscribed" several times already).
Use, not misuse. 100TB is only 0% of unlimited, I checked the math.
Skill issue on the provider's end.
It's a shared environment, words spreaded fast and people started pushing 5 times that on 3,6 EUR VPS's.
Clearly that's not sustainable.
That's why we are moving back to the limited port (like we had in the past).
It's pooled traffic anyway, so if you hold multiple resources with us it's not a big issue.
skill issue.
Oh goodness it’s actually over for me
I pushed 500TB on Cloudblast last month fml
Funny, you react on a reaction of mine in which I point out to you that you clearly are not "returning to previous limits" but are lowering them, but don't react to my points.
Anyway, you yourself promoted the "unlimited data" here on LET, responding to requests of users asking for such a VPS. Wh y would someone ask for unlimited when he'd have enough on 5 TByte? Offering "unlimited" will attrackt people trying to use networks to the full - and even complain when they can't. Everyone with even a slight idea of this world can tell you that.
You've made a few mistakes; first with starting the "unlimited", then by going back to limits lower as before the "unlimited" (and those were communicated in the offers back then), and now with an instant start of enforcing "the new reality", basically (with a 1,50/TB surcharge) putting them into costs before they even could realize that they'd be in trouble.
10Tb is little. I think 25Tb is enough for most user.
Why not keep it FUP? Then you can throttle the few players that are pushing 100 TB/month if they begin to interfere with other users. The new limits are really strict, especially in the UK.
I am curious how you guys even push 10 TB a month on a single machine? 🤔
I run Tor relays, which means any traffic that goes through is doubled (in+out). Depending on location, relays can use substantial traffic. They can be throttled, of course, but without throttling they'll often use as much as the CPU and port can handle. My fastest relay uses about 150 TB/month, although it's an outlier. Most use 5-20.
Bandwidth in the UK is not always the cheapest unless you can get the right deal with a provider.
