This is what the GSL dashboard recorded during the attacks. It could easily be wrong, but its power is unquestionable, as demonstrated by the chats published here with their support team.
We're 100% sure of the packets number btw, they were very complex attacks.
Just a quick note: RETN will be activated this week thanks to @BackboneDirect , to whom we extend our thanks once again for their virtually 24/7 technical support and help in resolving the attacks and for the quick solutions they found every time.
@DeluxHost IPv6 80 port still not working
PS a little bit weird decigion to make 7 days compensation, when the problem continued 14 days.
let me check this, sorry for the delay, should be some XDP rules
Could you show the GSL dashboard showing that?
Packet rate is more reasonable, 400M PPS is possible. 9Tbps on the other hand is not.
Lately, we’ve all seen the VPS issues these guys were having. It cost a lot of nerves: the waiting, the back-and-forth tickets. It totally sucks when your server goes down — sure, it’s cheap, but your data goes down with it. You submit a support ticket, and they either ghost you or promise to look into it, but you log in the next day and it’s the exact same story.
But despite all that mess, I want to give props to their team. You only avoid breaking things if you're not doing anything. The guys ran into a major outage and still managed to fix it, doing the best they could. The main thing is they didn’t just go radio silent or pull the plug on users like me. They actually tried to respond like humans and keep the dialogue going. A few days later, I managed to pull my data out, which I'm honestly super happy about.
Once again, massive respect to these guys. It’s a huge deal to give our community the chance to grab a working server for pennies. And honestly, before this massive downtime, there weren't really any issues — everything was running pretty damn well.
Sure, we’re all a bit spoiled here with these crazy deals where you can snag a VPS for a whole year for like 12–15 bucks (the price of a couple of coffees). We've normalized expecting 99.9% uptime for that kind of money. But real life shows it’s not always smooth sailing. Outages happen to everyone, but what makes a good host is how they handle the fallout. In this case, I see they actually fixed the issue — so kudos to them.
I hope they learn from this and patch up their infrastructure for the future. And I really hope they keep the prices dirt cheap and don’t close this "window of opportunity" for us. Thanks a lot and good luck with the business, DeluxeHost team!
Also, since I’ve already typed out this massive wall of text, I want to take a moment to give a huge shoutout to the folks running and maintaining LowEndBox. This is exactly where you can find the most interesting, cost-effective, and technically solid hosting setups. Guys, thanks for what you do — mad respect and huge thanks! I’m really glad I stumbled upon this site a few years ago. I’m sticking around and keeping my awesome budget servers.
Cheers everyone, and may your ping be low!
I know here on LET we all love our drama but this is the type of post that makes me believe in humanity. Sure it might be seen as glazing a little bit but he's just trying to look at the bright side instead of bitching and complaining about a bad situation. We need more of this across all threads.
I hope now all be good
Thank you 🙏🏼❤️❤️

I have informed you guys by ticket several times about that issue. You repeatedly asked to wait 24 hours cause of the XDP filtering and adding a new upstream provider. And since a few days no more replies have been given on my ticket.
The same graphic now says >3Tbps:

Magic
we changed it because it seemed right, actually i think too the number was too high and therefore it must have been a problem with the Dashboard, if you want the screenshot or proof, you can ask backbone with whom I think you have the contact and if he wants to share them he will do it
