  • Who wants part 3 of summerhost best practice? (™)
But I think it's too much, people already call me a cheater...
Maybe have few more ideas. @yoursunny I still hate IPv6.

my baboonhosting IPv6 only is still running well, I am getting 1gbps bandwidth everytime.

probably dasobo SRL/OU/LTD/PTY/PT/LLC will deadpool, they are out of stock on new orders.

No reason to hate on IPv6, it is irrelevant. There are those in the cult of IPv6 that praise it and talk about how awesome it is but it could disappear tomorrow and most of us wouldn't even notice. Just let them have their thing, it's probably all they have.

Unnacceptable. We need those 7/y deals. We loose millions without those deals.

Unfortunately, it's out of your league Mr. HC.
The Summer hosts operate on a different level; not even a Top Host can catch them on the extremely high number of offline days and ridiculously low uptime percentage. Are you sure you can challenge those numbers? I'd say not every battle is worth the fight.

Have we had any summer hosts yet?

I don't think we'll see much summer hosting this year. The economy became so bad it scares even the scammers.

    List of summer hosts, 2026-June

These patron providers posted their first offers in 2026-June.
We would not judge their stability, nor do we have any information on the availability of $1/year dealz.

They migrated my original plan to what I guess is one of their standard plans, "US West - W-small", at $30 renewal price. IPv6 essentially stopped working, and interactions with the new owner were not trust-instilling regarding their technical abilities, so I canceled.

Now, VeloxMedia have started to throttle traffic at about 1Mbit/s... Limping along for another 15 days...

it’s more worse of their market policy compared to technical abilities.

It's unfair to keep Atomic on here after it's turn around by us. It's still active and we get plenty of VPS orders. Even have a new website too.

Wait, so if I test provider with port blasting and it does not react - does it mean deadpool incoming?

  • hennaboyhennaboy Member

Considering the shitshow that was dart day how come Dartnode has not made it onto the list?

If I had actually been able to make an account and taken a server I would be more worried about that deadpooling than I have ever been about my veloxmedia servers!

Does the provider was bullshit or user expected to much?

Hmm well the whole thing was poorly setup and they clearly wasnt ready for it. It's the shitshow that has occurred afterwards.

This means you relaunched the brand.
It doesn't change the fact that the original company went deadpool due to the previous owner's mismanagement.
Some unsustainable products were discontinued and customers force-refunded with short notice.

The frontpage list covers companies that have already deadpooled since the previous summer.
The monthly list covers newly launched companies this summer, but doesn't indicate whether they would deadpool.
DartNode meets neither criteria, but you can join the Daniel fan club.
