Is this going to be available in Budget DirectAdmin & cPanel Reseller Hosting? Also does Budget DirectAdmin & cPanel Reseller Hosting use crane mail?
The plan is that this will replace SpamExperts outright for us. We have SpamExperts integrated in cPanel/DirectAdmin/CraneMail, and this would replace it in all places, for both inbound & outbound.

It all depends on the type of spam you get. Some users on discord reported that SpamExperts was allowing a lot of fake bank notifications pass, where as our system is catching all of that with ease.
Pretty happy with things so far. Some protection systems on our end are being finalized (SPF checks on outbound emails being a big one), and some other monitoring.

The new system has worked really well and more then enough features for me to use as a personal email service to replace gmail and outlook.
For the one with web hosting, it just works.

I think you're mixing products a bit, but, all email that comes in/out of namecrane, will run through here. Shared, CraneMail, Resellers, Crates.

Is the new spam system intended to inherit information from SpamExperts (including whatever bad data adversely impacts filtering), or is it more of a clean slate?
When we do the cut over we will import settings/etc over from spamexperts, so it should be pretty painless.

This also works with reseller portal domains. If you have antispam.yourdomain.tld setup, your users can do the FWD to (spam|block|blockdomain)@antispam.yourdomain.tld and it works just the same.
The biggest annoyance is not all email clients FWD emails as an .eml, and does inline. Inline is too fragile for us to parse for the data, and in some cases the data simply isn't there.

Just got my domains at Cranemail moved to the new spamfilter, and so far I love it.
To early to give an honest review about functionality, but the interface is like a million times better than Spamexpert. Looks awesome and stuff is exactly where you expect them to be. If I had to make a complaint it would be that the dark theme is a bit to blue. But that's it, that's the only thing I could think of.
As I said, just moved but so far mail is flowing like it should, ask me again in a few weeks.

Some changes this morning to the attachment block/quarantine system. Before it only checked immediate files (if a
.vbsfile is attached), it never checked inside archives.We now check all unencrypted archives for files matching your extension block list. You can always whitelist a sender and that will bypass these checks.
