Alright; I don't know him, I just see his signature where he runs a privacy-focused provider and at the same time comes to the defense of a doxxer, and it doesn't look great.
It's best not to judge a book by its cover. He was just, at the time, under the impression that you went from 0 to 100 at once without even trying to report jar to mods.

My stance changes based on available info. I apologize if I've not followed or read every word as clearly as they're written, on mobile at the moment as mentioned in all my replies. Will be to my office shortly though.
My only major concern was I legit was going to drop MXR, a provider that has been rock solid for me for many years, because I originally thought he was snooping on a customers emails for retaliation. Turns out it that was not the case and it was some forum drama and some people (Jar included) being malicious in response.
Anyhow, anything I've said has only been my personal opinion so again, attack my character but not my business if my words have caused some form of harm.
Edit: I'm not defending jar either. I've said time and time again the trust pilot review was insanely stupid. I'm sure he knows that now and regrets doing that in his response to prior escalation.
If you do, it should be because jar is willing to attack others who have business with him for petty reasons and because he cancels customers for equally petty reasons. Whether or not he snoops is not something that has been proven yet.
Given that he's doubling down on Reddit and other forums, I really doubt it.
If this is an apology for the earlier statements then thank you. I do understand it's 23 pages of posts at this point and rather involved, and possible to get things wrong.
We did not know the exact mechanism Jar was using for the doxxing at the time (and still don't), it was Protocol903 who figured out the most likely mechanism later on in the thread (which didn't rely on e-mail contents).

It can get quite heated, but I'm glad it's not getting derailed or causing new and unnecessary fights.
It's interesting how his followers seem to be a part of a cult of personality. Just looking through his subreddit, it's full of people endlessly congratulating him for doing various things that are typically considered antisocial.

Based on some other comments here and on reddit, I think Jar is used to bullying people and having them back down.
Now, I don't doubt Jar can waste his money trying to sue me, but the consumer protection laws here are pretty good for my defense, and I have some great counter claims (publicity rights, libel/defamation, etc). Jar also has a lot more to lose than I do, so it'd be a fantastically dumb fight for him to pick. I am not going to escalate this to court first though, if he wants that fight, he's going to have to instigate it.

This is hilarious given he was the one who blocked me on Reddit, preventing me from replying to his post in my reddit thread.
I can't even access his subreddit (I'm banned there, no surprise) except in an incognito window. I literally don't have a report button (correction, apparently there is one, I just didn't know where it was), so now he's just flat out lying. (I never reported either of his posts)
Some crazy stuff going on in the reddit thread - I went in earlier and upvoted a few of the buried threads on there, and a few hours later my reddit account got flagged for "suspicious behavior" (!), the top post also is talking about how there's been crazy brigading and flagging on Reddit's end. I've used reddit for years and never once got a flag on my account like this, it's got to be related
Someone was botting or brigading. It likely thought you were one of them due to the algorithm being on alert. The fraudulent votes seem to have disappeared and the heavy vote fuzzing is gone.

The bots were removed, which is why Reddit is no longer fuzzing the votes.
I haven't even voted manually once, but that's not out of a lack of willingness: Reddit seems to block Tor sign-ups.
They're terrible match. Usually, one side would take the losses and stop.
