i doubt he was digging thru mail especially since apparently he was wrong about the guy's identity and i don't believe he'd be willing to destroy the business he's built (and what he feels like he's defending, i guess) over whatever this is.
it's way more likely he just did some basic searching and connected some dots that weren't actually related. anyway i don't think it's productive or even sensible to beat that drum.
trying to dox the guy and trying to strongarm what he thought was the guy's place of employment are the actual issues, for me anyway.
i guess other providers endorsing/excusing that are another eye-opener too.
it's all a little disgusting.
Lol, then 99.9% on what is on this forum is a case, so that would mean that all the court rooms on the planet will have enough cases on their hand for the next decade or so.
And I am not talking about providers only, users also, as... have you seen the shit some ask/use/do on some services??
I rest my case.
Good, as that was going no where for both of us.

administration might be interested in provider fee only. they dont handle problems on behalf of providers who paid.
The point is that jar thought he did work there when posting the TP review - you think posting the review he did is fine based on a disagreement about something completely different (and nothing to do with the company that @WyvernCo works for)? Because if so, that's an interesting take.

$200 does not come with housekeeping services
Let's make things separate here. Let's separate @jar from MXRoute for a moment.
MXRoute is a great service. It is a service of providing email with great attention to detail, great reliability and great quality of service. It was founded on the feedback of LET and the person behind it (Jarland) did a great job of listening to that feedback while trying to create this niche service as good as possible.
@jar is a great person when it comes to business management. This guy knows how to keep his cool and manage a business properly. Probably experience with management from the past helped him in his endeavour. However, @jar is absolutely terrible when it comes to human interaction and apologies. This case is not the first time when he went overboard - I was even banned by @jar when he was an admin of LET, even though I did not break the rules in any way, shape or form at the time. But the fact that he recurred to doxing someone now does not surprise me one bit, simply because I figured out over the years that he can't handle emotional impulses as we expect from a business perspective - or at least he does this in his own particular way. I learned to stay out of his sight on things that might trigger him, and strictly limit my conversations to his services which represent his strengths and his passion for work.
Everybody has light and dark. Everybody has their positives and their negatives. Jarland has his positives when it comes to managing a business, but his negatives when someone points fingers at him or manages to position him into a corner. He simply finds it hard to embrace the "sorry" aspect of human nature - and that's great, because this is part of his uniqueness as a human individual - a part which in my opinion offered him energy to carry on with his business as manager.
Again, I must reiterate: let's separate Jarland from MXRoute. This case should be treated as a case of Jarland, not a case of MXRoute, because MXRoute itself is a great business which likely has employees and contractors working with effort to offer some of the best quality of email service we already know of. Meanwhile Jarland is the one who is simply a human who likely experiences difficulties in managing emotions or impulses. What I am trying to say: nobody should cancel the service of MXRoute because of @jar and what he did. Yes, what @jar did was extremely wrong, but MXRoute as business has likely nothing to do with all this mess.
It is hard to build a house, as it takes many days of work and effort. It is easy though to burn the house down or demolish it, as it takes just a couple of hours. Let's not destroy MXRoute just because @jar might have reached some emotional difficulties. Maybe @jar should sell his business before causing any more harm to his business and his work so far, but this might be another topic to which I am no expert, because I am not a successful business owner like Jar is. I am aware I have my own weaknesses.

@default I completely and whole heartedly agree to you (for most of the comment), also this is what I have been saying too that the service provided by MXRoute is great.
But the question to me feels one of trust, Do I want someone like jar running my mail? Mail is an incredibly (and I mean incredibly) sensitive thing which fundamentally requires trust within the provider.
My question feels as if do people feel comfortable knowing that jar is running their mail service after this incident.
it's truly saddening to see jar's personal life (sort-of) get involved so much with MXRoute that for many, MXRoute just doesn't seem like a trustworthy option anymore.
I slightly (respectfully) disagree with this because lets be honest, if this was even a VPS provider or anyone else within the hosting industry, I could perhaps try to understand some aspects of it (personally I wouldn't but I hope you understand what I mean to say) but he literally runs an E-mail service. They are very much (as sad as it sounds) still very much intertwined because E-mail does require a very strong case of trust and trust is very fragile like a vase which can break.
But overall, your comment was very well written and I appreciate you for it, I feel like we can have some meaningful discourse due to your comment!
it's sad to see things unfold this way for @jar for something he has worked so hard but I am unable to understand how he might recoup from such a generational damage to his company and reputation especially given no comms from his side.
Honestly a great summary @default - I think some people wouldn't be surprised by what it's come to, but it's a shame as mxroute is known as being pretty solid.
Ok, this is bad bad.
Dafuq.... you just woke up?????

I woke up early today to drive into the office for a meeting! It’s only 730am yo! 😁
What a lovely evening
I’m definitely stopping for donuts…
thank god someone can use their brain here
so far it just seems like wyvernco personally bullying off a host of LET as a hobby, unless tangible evidence is provided which i have not seen so far here
Damn bro, stop texting while driving!!! not safe!!!!!
Well, I like you, you are weird ( in a very good and non gay way )

But in the end, rejecting a whole community just because of disagreements with two individuals? I believe MXR owes a lot to LET, it's like biting the hand that fed you...
"NEEEEXT".

Are you crazy? When people out of personal spite try to cripple your business at some point you gotta say that ykw maybe i shouldnt continue being here.
I see that it's normal for LET to insult both women and gays. Interesting...
Nobody should text while driving. This reminds me of a recent movie I saw.
I hope the right kind of weird. I'm contemplating the coincidences: me giving example to pulsedmedia on how-not-to-you-know and my dream last night: driving car on mountain road and hitting guardrails (near misses).
Pretty much all that needs to be said, it's good to see a sensible take.
As great as your business might be in terms of service quality, support etc, when you as the owner start flipping out over a thread on LET of all places, calling people psychos and running a flash sale off of that, you seriously need to consider your mental state and most likely seek some help. At the very least to stop causing further potential reputational harm to the business you've worked so hard on for a decade or so, but most importantly because it's just not healthy for you.
I'm not saying this to belittle or stigmatize @jar (I've been a happy MXRoute customer since 2019), I just wish him the best both on a personal and professional level.
“Hey siri, ask host-c for more deals…”
Just joining the drama:
1) who did those things to @jar? Stalking and other weird shit, afaik there is 2 people on LET and neither admits doing such thing.
2) why is provider using info we give them to doxx their customers? Why would someone give their personal details truthfully or trust a provider after this incident?
3) What kinda toxic action to leave a negative review to your employer because of something he did off the working hours.
Jar blames others for doing weird shit (he is right or wrong is another topic) but also himself does weird as fuck shit while representing his own company
How come he could think that trying to get a person fired by their employer would work on someone’s behalf. If a person gets fired due to Jar’s comment, is that person will just shrug off their shoulders and move on with their life or look for their revenge?
And all this for some stupid comment/review about his service
At no point were they trying to cripple his business - they were pointing out bad business practices and even just asked for it to be acknowledged as a mistake. Can you show where they were trying to cripple the business?
Do you agree with the TP review?
