God, I hate people sometimes.
Do you think i care about some stranger from the internet? Soft boy.
but you care if i use the word jew
great logic dude
so you care only if it fits your agenda
Dunning Kruger hitting hard in your basement.
cope when beaten with your own logic, yeah man keep your one sided beef over in lala land
That was a prophecy not a wish, the inevitable outcome of bad actions.
Some call it karma.
Beaten where? You have used the word "jew" as an insult against others. You are just a loser behind his shitty PC.
Emm... ya lets keep the discussion civil
Finally they get silent/banned for sometime so we can talk about the issue of MXRoute at hand.
This. Thanks fat32 for trying to keep the discussion civil! Have a nice day sir, we appreciate your moderation efforts!
Current theories on MXRoute's doxxing attempt:
1) Jar saw something in his e-mail database to lead him to his conclusions (ex: grep for 'wyvernco', etc)
2) Jar grabbed my IP somehow and matched it to an existing MXRoute customer and then researched that person
You were muted yourself recently and now you are happy because somebody else fell into provocation. Sure, let's discuss mxroute. Do we have any facts apart from guess game?
I woke up, having a morning tea, and then I see 9 pages of a new drama thread! Guys you give me a lot of reading for my tea
Too convoluted. Occam razor please.
He learned his lesson.
Now about facts, we do not have hard facts yet but we have lots of evidence. Do a proper investigation, follow the evidence and you can be sure you will get some facts. Hard facts.
I need some time to read and react to it but I really wish jar can calm down a little bit sometimes
just to be clear, if I may ask When you say this, were you ever an customer of MXRoute yourself?
@jar we will miss you, but we won't miss your Black Friday deals.
No, to my knowledge, I have never been a direct customer, or a reseller customer. So my suspicion is he may have seen my IP and matched me to a real customer and gone after that guy. OR he did a text search and matched my username to someone who talked about me, or with me as maybe someone I was talking to is his customer. Or maybe I registered on a website that uses his mail service. Or maybe it is something else. Just theories at this point
I pretty much doubt that this is an outcome of disagreements / quarrels with 2 users alone.
I pretty much doubt that an e-mail provider with such a distinguished background would sneak-peak into customer mails/data. That would be way beyond non-ethical.
Also, we are talking about someone who does this for a very long time, most of the users here were barely out of dyperes when he started.
Snooping in the account of the user is really out of the question, it would defeat the mail-provider image that company relays on.
So I am not buying that.
What I do get/sense here is anger and personal frustration, it seems that rather then letting a subject go as there is no real substance to it and too little info other then some quarrels, the whole shit gets inflated by IFTT + he said/she said xyz time ago in a galaxy far far away............ for the sole purpose of?????........
Don't give me the doxing shit, other's have been spoken to/accused of much worse over the past years...... this basically makes the whole thing a witch hunt in my view.
Yet, one of LET's most distinguished service providers chose to step back. And that there should make you think a bit on how some situations should be handled by both parties in the future.
calm down gents, dont be like chickens
Ah okay, yeah. That's not a good look, like at all. (-_- )
I'll reiterate what I said earlier about Oracle I guess, still holds true. As of now MXR, in my experience, is the best email service provider represented here in terms of stability and production readiness. There are no threads here about random outages and quirks from a hefty software stack (No offense Fran, still love you and use your services too). The MXR stack is tried and true.
Depends on the chick-en..........
are we talking about the usual 7USD/year one:
or are we taking about these chickens:
Damn 9 pages.. I remember the other thread and there was nothing wrong with the comments of Forest and WyvernCo, just a different way to see things. Jar is obviously very succesful with his business and doesn't need anyones platform to advertise. He will always be welcome here once things settle
I would not trust any provider who thinks doxxing and trying to get someone fired for posting criticism is defensible behavior. I encourage you to re-evaluate your position on this one, since I don't think that's going to be a popular position.
But also it's late and I must go to bed. Good night, all!
Trying to get someone fired, and harassing a completely unrelated company in the process of attempting that, could be seen as witch hunting, indeed.
Also, I think it might be best to be fully transparent and directly state that you are actively in business with MXRoute, judging by host-c.com's MX records.
That might color your judgement of his actions after all.
Please post what you company said to what jar wrote that put you in a position of getting fired...... wait...... you don't work there, so from where comes the assumption that you would have been fired in the first place???? Is this a what if scenario?? Or are we talking about facts here??
Until now whatever you wrote ( if true ) is purely speculation, other then 1 fact, you pissed off a provider and he took action in some form, now, that is not doxing, that is an outcome of your actions, nothing more nothing less. Doxing would have been if for no reason he would have engaged you, yet, that is not the case.
Please explain why it isn't doxxing if it's in response to an online argument.
Last time I checked, most doxxing cases, including ones that have gone to trial, were started from online arguments, not "randomly".
That is really not your business dear, on what HOST-C chooses as a mail provider, also, I think I underlined a few times that I really like the quality of the services he has, so that was the reason we chose them as Mail service Provider. It might have been Google, MSFT or AWS or other, yet I believe in the quality of most established providers here and chose to use them rather then give $$ to already billionaires.
If I start judging people by your logic, all those that drive a BMW, Mercedes are thugs, drug lords and mercenaries.
