I guess it would be a lot more boring here if our personalities were all homogeneous!
Can't know for sure, but he has been known to stretch the truth quite a bit in past. Like in his retaliatory reviews, where he equates leaving a bad review of MXRoute on Trustpilot to "attempted to utterly destroy our business."
That being said, I just found something far more interesting...
Apparently MXRoute tried to get me FIRED:
I know he's infamous for his retaliatory reviews, but this is crazy 🤣
Holy shit. So jar doxed you, tracked down where you worked, and literally tried to get you fired?
@MannDude This is the kind of retaliatory review I meant. I think I can go out on a limb here and say that jar has never been a customer of Together Money. But I didn't know it was this bad.
so he can do 'Update 2' but others are not allowed to?
Yikes. I stand corrected and glad to be corrected.
I would like to know the context as to why this review was written or how he even found out.
Not along perfectly but not so bad either. I think we can just treat each other as humans and have nuance. I feel like the community is very polarizable and fails to capture any middle ground sometimes. It's either completely good or bad, nothing in the middle.
I think that there is some value in diversity of opinions and insights and disagreements 100%, but I hope that these happen with respect and kindness.
But do you still not believe me when I say that I was not the one harassing him? Apparently jar thinks that it was WyvernCo who was engaged in "sustained harassment" (judging by the looks of it, he wasn't).
I argued with him sure, but it's him who is, apparently, doxing people and trying to get them fired.
This is just what jar does. He writes retaliatory reviews against companies that are related to anyone that get in an argument with him. It was one of the things that I called him out on (although I didn't know he'd go so far as to actually track someone's work down to find them).
Few idiots spoiled whole batch of goodness. @jbiloh do you have something to say on this matter? Toxic cest pit is not bad to operate, clicks guaranteed.
does this suggest that...as a customer of mxroute...any dissatisfaction on either side...be it a negative review or a disagreement could result in him pursuing me through my workplace?
That entirely depends how much you really care about my perception of you. If that bothers you then you know what you should do.
If it doesn't then nothing changes right? Actions speak louder than words
Yes. That's literally the kind of review that started this whole drama. You wouldn't be the first or the last person he did that to.
right on dude. When i talked about nettiquette on LET it appears that this is totally gone. Doxing, Portscanning, ddos-ing, hacking eachothers machines looks like the new normal. Its good to be here, as for me this is a wake up call, as i came from the enterprise world where that behaviour is a no-go zone and will haunt your whole carreer.
What the actual duck, jar is showing some actual psychotic behaviour if he's doing this... this questions his all integrity/any statement he says or has said previously. Oh boy. Jar what is all of this behaviour. I am unsure how customers of MXRoute might feel about all of this too.
How did he even find where you work, was he intentionally searching your name and trying to find you on the internet and then leave an somewhat-false review to your employer?, it feels extremely wrong for him to do this.
I don't like it when people call me insincere, but that's also an insecurity of mine so that's a me problem, not a you problem.
@whynotlearn I am intensely curious how he zeroed in on Together Money as well. A quick search of 'together money wyvernco' doesn't yield any relevant results on the public web, so I have to wonder about his thought process here. Jar does have a hoard of privileged/sensitive e-mails, I wonder if searched them and that's how he came to his conclusion.
I'm honestly surprised Trustpilot is letting that obvious drivel stand, despite the fact it clearly is in violation of their rules (given the review is not related to an actual experience with the relevant company). Once again, he's ever so hypocritical with his cries about "business-destroying hate campaign reviews", when he goes on a personal libel campaign over some criticism in some forum drama.
So Jar doxed someone because they left a bad review?? That's really, really fucked up. I never expected a provider to dox someone, try to get them fired, and publicly post where they work.
I don't want to enter into the specific discussion of this thread but:
In big companies things work very differently. There are rules, procedures and so on, and even if the owner is dogshit, he would not attack single individuals. In smaller companies instead, that's a real risk and the human side of their leadership is more important and can heavily affect business of their customers.
Never ever liked this 'Jar'head in the first place... he is nuts!
were you even a customer of mxroute?
i agree with this. this is where MxRoute went somewhat wrong!
And what would you call him doxing WyvernCo for a bad review? I'd call that a little more than somewhat wrong.
Not to my knowledge (unless through a reseller), but who knows if someone I ever e-mailed sensitive information to is. Or someone who e-mailed personal information about me.
Good response. Good luck with that.
yikes
You have to trust your e-mail provider. And someone trying to do doxxing/firing is not sufficiently trustworthy to store all your communications with.
some snooping must have happened somewhere because nothing public links you to together money

Now let's see how fast this rule is applied. If at all.
@jbiloh @angstrom @FAT32 Y'all might want to take action on this one...
