  • About a month later, my BGP session encountered problems again.

I tried submitting a ticket, and during this time there were 1571 more tickets. I can't imagine how much effort it will take to process these tickets.

I also noticed that the user panel has many new features, nice job.

We're sending a truck to LA this weekend and will be deploying everyone once the POP is live

We are now entering the third weekend.

It is prices of memory RAM, NVMe and SSD.

HDDs are mechanical spinners so these should not be impacted.

yeah, it's not even like we can buy it elsewhere and ship it directly to them, comes out to the same price. Unfortunately the state of the market.

is it just me? I didn't see any price list, or maybe I just missed it. I've been seeing news lately that RAM prices are dropping, which is why I'm asking.

No. Due to AI development, the prices of memory keep going up and up... to the moon 🚀

    West is live.

     07:23:27 up 1:03, 1 user, load average: 0.05, 0.02, 0.00

EDIT: I'm on a Xeon 6148 apparently. Default image is an old Ubuntu 2022, looks like a somewhat custom image though, running very slim sshd config.

In terms of networking, its not too bad. 0.7ms ping from my Psychz box in LA, but an extra +11ms pinging from Australia (compared to that same psychz box).

  • One of mine got an ipv6 and one didnt, so that's interesting. IIRC that's easily fixed with a ticket, but seems odd nonetheless. Also appears networking is broken by default on the debian 12 template... got it to work creating my own /etc/network/interfaces with the provided network info tho.

I'm also waiting on US-West. I didn't get an e-mail, but sure enough my server had been commissioned and was available on the control panel. Mine got an IPv6 assigned, but it's not working at all, I was assigned 2602:f9f3:3000::x/36, but according to bgp.tools, this prefix isn't being announced at all, just 2602:f9f3::/36.

DartNode's panel only shows Debian 12 for me. Did you install via VNC? Any custom config needed?

Installed 12 and in-place upgraded to 13 by changing sources.list to trixie, no issues encountered aside from the 12 template having broken networking to start with.

For KC, we have allocated additional IPv6, so if your VM did not get assigned an IPv6 address, let us know in a ticket as well

We're continuing to work through the queue and appreciate your patience. If you want a refund, we 100% understand and will process these under the 7-day money-back guarantee we offer. Please give us time to process the refund before you open a dispute. We are not declining any refunds, and want to make sure you are taken care of even if you decide you want a refund.

Would you reset the starting date of both 1-year service period and 7-day money-back guarantee to align with the resolution of major problems? (1) IPv6 online (2) VNC operational.
Presently half of the 7-day period has elapsed and the machine is unusable.

Yes we will be pushing renewal dates and then also extending the 7 day money back persion until 1/1/2026

It's been two months since we purchased the server, and the server still does not work: VNC does not work, and the server is stuck in power off state for who knows how long whenever we reboot it from panel.
We are giving the provider a final 7-day period to resolve the technical issues.
If this cannot be resolved within this period, we would unfortunately have to request a refund.

Purchased one a couple days ago.

IPv6 doesn't work, it has no route out from the gateway.
VNC doesn't work on it either.

Best part, the refund button doesn't even work either.

It's a shame, it did look quite promising.

  • It's already February 1st, please process the renewal immediately.

  • Isn't renewing this a simple matter of clicking a button? Why wait until it expires without any action being taken?

  • There's no renewal function; payment can only be notified via invoice, but no prior notification was sent, and I haven't received it. It remains unresolved.

  • just noticed this one... not sure why i'd be getting billed again already for my 2 $7/yr preorders that just got delivered??

Don’t worry about this, we’ll go through the LA invoices and the dates will be adjusted :)

We’re currently experiencing a high ticket volume and are prioritizing the most critical issues, so please bear with us for now. You can safely ignore this upcoming notice
