AMAZINGDEALfor any VPS in Sweden from Skhronnow we are taking! how much? 👀
Good deal!
Look you shouldn't have a problem with the company who bought Lewis, @VeloxMedia shouldn't receive the hate for terminating purchases for deals that are unsustainable.
I see companies doing that all the time, please don't frame the new company into this unless it are the same owners.
You're in the running and appreciate the deal! Lets see who else shows up. AMAZINGDEAL is the one to beat right now.
I will set up a gofundme to get @VeloxMedia unbanned, because they didn't violate LET rules, this public nameshaming and attacks are unjustified from LET members.
Please direct your hate to Lewis.
Good luck! Staff have made a decision already, which your favorite provider threatened in the same way as us, don't forget.
Also, take a look on entire Velox thread, might help you taking conclusions.
Why? They have 12mil and you need to fund them ? LoL
Don't worry, he will setup it on his name 🤣
Companies that do that in the real world get sued.
Well - they were not his customers to cancel. The whole deal was structured weird, and that’s on both parties.
The issue with the new owner was more his arrogant approach to GDPR and general unprofessional behaviour.
If that’s the type of host you want to back then please go ahead…
Have you taken a look at their ToS and the offer details?
Do they reserve the right to end it?
What does local law state?
Otherwise, I am unsure why they call for customers to do a chargeback, they have to provide that and its cheaper for them.
The new owner was adamant that the customers remained with Lewis and were not part of the deal. The new owner therefore has no right to terminate them as he has no contractual relation with them. Lewis might have that right, but he hasn’t done so - termination came form the new owner, so by definition unlawful termination.
you have to read the thread, honestly, its entertainment. Claiming that he didnt take over then admitting to it multiple times (although not here, but on Discord and in the email to LET) and just flip flopping around the place. Get some popcorn
Lewis is gone with money and contractChargeback Lewis and we will terminate your service" become "We will terminate all LET deals unless you pay $4/month *"PS:
*if the customer signed the new agreement (added on 10th Jan). Idk, I only found this
Lewis nice new attempt at scamming money out of people
There were multiple procedural issues with the approach taken that will cause them legal trouble.
Your question about local law is interesting, but the customer contracts that were broken were made according to UK law. Eric has made multiple statements to the effect that he doesn't consider that UK law applies to him. So, that'll be interesting.
Then whats behind this 5 years, are you under the same carpet?
A few nodes run low on storage but still have plenty of memory.
50% off on microLXC for the 5 selected locations.
Sorry man, but that's not your business whom, where and how. You could read it as some random guy in the internet share some story without a proof.
... but are there llamas?
@FAT32
@default what's your grudge against this megathread that you are trying to get it closed for past few days? Does it cost you anything by any chance?
Loosing hope.
No. It does not cost anything. By that logic this thread could stay open as an announcement for 10 years.
My reasons for closing:
