User's can upload their own data into discord as they're in charge of their own privacy rights, but once you stole their data and took it and posted it on your companies server below you violated their GDPR right as you have their data without their permission. PII info like photos and names/addresses and such as people post invoices and such.

FWIW: Current status of my account and VPS:

I received no such email, in fact no email at all from @VeloxMedia during the past few days and up to this minute
I can login to the client panel
my VPS still is up and running and uninterrupted
The panel says (verbatim copy): "Next Due Date Saturday, September 23rd, 2028". So it seems that they'll let my VPS run its full period (3 yrs).

Of course that's only the current situation and might change, but so far I'm happy to say "Thank you Eric/VeloxMedia for keeping my VPS alive and for actually providing support!

Btw, my intention for this post is mainly to give @forest some hope. It seems that Eric does have and applies the "friend foe" discrimination as I hinted a few pages ago. I sincerely wish you good luck with your VPS!

You're not actively communicating outside LET and Discord. There is no official annoucement or anything. Who knows how many people don't even know, you own their servers

FWIW: Current status of my account and VPS:

I received no such email, in fact no email at all from @VeloxMedia during the past few days and up to this minute

I can login to the client panel

my VPS still is up and running and uninterrupted

The panel says (verbatim copy): "Next Due Date Saturday, September 23rd, 2028". So it seems that they'll let my VPS run its full period (3 yrs).

Of course that's only the current situation and might change, but so far I'm happy to say "Thank you Eric/VeloxMedia for keeping my VPS alive and for actually providing support!

Btw, my intention for this post is mainly to give @forest some hope. It seems that Eric does have and applies the "friend foe" discrimination as I hinted a few pages ago. I sincerely wish you good luck with your VPS!

Honestly, I hate taking sides or having foes. I wish we lived in a world where the whole concept of "if you aren't against them, you're against us" was never a thing. But I'm a starry-eyed idealist, I suppose.

I didn't get a mail so... Time is ticking... Yet... He'd need to up his game as there's some legal issues with this mail regarding EU customers.

He probably doesn't care though.

Why would you need an email? You're already a customer that bought service today remember.

Some could ask you a similar question. Why are you not transparent? What do you have to hide?

You're not actively communicating outside LET and Discord. There is no official annoucement or anything. Who knows how many people don't even know, you own their servers

Did you not just see someone post the email we sent? Whats the issue?

If so he somehow is using illegally obtained PII to match let accounts against clients.

Another legal mess you dont want to get into.

I imagine Discord has a ToS that states that anything you upload to them becomes their intellectual property.

Then he better stop bitching about the dump.

I'm not talking about IP I'm talking about GDPR. completely different. User's can upload their own data into discord as they're in charge of their own privacy rights, but once you stole their data and took it and posted it on your companies server below you violated their GDPR right as you have their data without their permission. PII info like photos and names/addresses and such as people post invoices and such.
