Gotcha, I'll stick with my team of attorneys with law degrees who specialize in GDPR.

    OK, good luck with that.

Yupp. So on to @Saragoldfarb why won't you look into that?

I have real work to do during the day, and my spare time is already spoken for with another time sensitive task.

I missed 1.1k comments, but how did we get from telling people gdpr and all that stuff doesn't apply to crying about gdpr...?

Because how data privacy laws work in other countries. US doesn't need to comply with GDPR unless we provide a product or service. But since he's in EU/UK he has to comply regardless.

It's the difference between having a legal team that understands the law and people that Google the law.

    @VeloxMedia said:

    @tfgp99 said:
@VeloxMedia you, Eric from US, do you need to be GDPR compliant in your own country? Or the law just applies just in your favor?

We only need to be compliant if we provide goods or services to the data subjects. Below is the law right from their site. We're not providing goods or services as we just haven't deleted the data yet.

The law is crystal clear on this

    https://gdpr.eu/Recital-23-Applicable-to-processors-not-established-in-the-Union-if-data-subjects-within-the-Union-are-targeted/

And as I explained yesterday, this section means the exact opposite to what you clearly believe it means.

I would explain, but I've given you free advice. If you want more my day rate is $1500.

Please explain how the other site is GDPR complaint. That's the question.

Do you want to send me over a work order? $1500 per day. And given how sketchy you seem, that'll be $1500 before the work takes place.

But again, I'll remind you. This section means the exact opposite to what you clearly believe it means.

I'm good we have full attorneys that are specialists in GDPR who say otherwise. Do you have a law degree?

    Good luck with that.

Assuming you actually have attorneys, then you have ones that seemingly are both unfamiliar with the GDPR and seemingly unable to parse statutes and understand their meaning.

Some free advice: try asking a different attorney who specialises in this stuff and see if they agree with your attorneys.

Again why are you singling me out when he posted everyone's data publicly on the Internet??? Are you not concerned?

I have other things to do with my time. I can only do so much pro-bono.

Since you offered your services, again I ask do you have a law degree?

I do not, but I have worked on compliance with data protection long enough to know unequivocally that your lawyers are wrong.

Like I said, take my free advice - you need to get some time with a lawyer who's actually familiar with the GDPR. If you rely on your lawyer's bad advice, it's going to cost you dearly.

You are very keen to keep posting recital 23 as your reason for non-compliance. I will tell you for free, categorically, that under recital 23, you would fall under the regulations.

But as to your question, no I do not have a law degree. If I did, my day rate would be significantly higher than $1500.

Gotcha, I'll stick with my team of attorneys with law degrees who specialize in GDPR.

    OK, good luck with that.

Yupp. So on to @Saragoldfarb why won't you look into that?

Why don't you look into providing the evidence where PII was leaked?

If it's in this thread please show me, I'm not doing your job. I asked you where is the PII and you said yep... But failed to provide where it is.

    🥱

Yes, they just took my money.

    Yes. Thank you.

Also please ensure you're GDPR compliant as you took our PII data along with all our members when you scraped our discord and placed this on your "company" server without our permission. We will be filing a formal complaint

Oh, by the way, it's on a server with Lewis if that makes the complaint easier.

It doesn't. Again please state how you are GDPR compliant and obtained my PII along with our customers who are on here's data and are protecting their rights. Because you just posted it all publicly online for everyone to see which is a massive GDPR violation.

Again, days and days of people attacking me here and yet not a single person calling you out on this. Such a double standard.

Why is everyone else quiet on this? Is this not a violation or is it? @rpqu

Why are you still posting, after saying, that you will quit LET and delete everything multiple times. Why can’t you commit to anything? Were you drunk too much last night at the party you posted about on DC and now trying to correct it?

    First off I don't drink.

Second we are still deleting LET accounts, haven't changed that. We'll likely give them the option to purchase service for a few $ a month if they want to continue based on feedback from customers. This way it isn't an exit scam and they can become customers. Meanwhile we're just deleting any customers who complain or cause issues as we find them. We're not in any rush.

You kind of are. You have 13 days before I report you to ICO for obtaining PII data illegally and then deliberately violating the GDPR regulations, despite confirming to ICO that you would process data responsibly.

You should. Are you going to do the same with @Saragoldfarb or am I just singled out?

Just @VeloxMedia at this time, correct.

I don't use discord so I have no way of gathering enough data to verify your claims, so perhaps you should complain about her if you think you'd be better placed to make the case. If you'd like me to support you, again my day rate is a very reasonable $1500.

Why aren't you concerned about @Saragoldfarb posting GDPR data publicly with multiple links in this thread full of people's PII on here?

    Isn't this a massive breach?

    What PII?

Please show and link the exact post where she did this?

There's multiple of them. I'm not posting links to where you can find the violations but just look on this feed for his posts about our discord links

You can always request my host to take it down. Just dm @VeloxMedia . He can just open a ticked in his portal and request it.

I suspect you'd also comply with a "right to erasure" request given the properly completed submission of the request.

I would if I would need to, to abide the law. Which wouldn't be the case. But you know... I have redacted stuff before when he was worried about DDOS. So I did.

Now I'm just evidence gathering for my case against them. Its 100% legal to defend my consumer rights and publish sensitive information for the greater good, to protect the public.

I wasn't even gonna get involved much till he started stealing my money.

Fwiw, he can request a takedown. I think VeloxMedia has a contact email for that, lewis@something I think? Or just open a ticket in their ticketing system.

Everything that @VeloxMedia has posted is absolute crap, non-sensicle and even contradictory.

It is all scammer speak - making up excuses, challenging truths and delay tactics.

There is no multimillion dollar company. There are no extensive hardware networks or legal teams.

None of the actions that 'Eric' has taken make any sense, from taking over the VeloxMedia brand but not taking it over, having the customers but not wanting them, needing the original VeloxMedia infrastructure but having millions to spend on the project, etc etc.

It is just one person, we don't know who they really are but they have shown up as Eric, Lewis Tom and Andrew at least. I'm sure if you run all their posts through AI it will pick up consistencies proving this.

The first phase of the scam was obviously an exit scam. What the current phase is I'm not sure, but it's definitely still a scam.

Actions to take include charging back where possible, laying complaints with payment providers and regulatory authorities and warning all future potential customers of the scam. Further investigation into who the individual behind this all is would be great, but I'm not sure how much real information would surface.

We do know that Eric Banks is a real person now at least don't we? From the company registration?

Don't need ID to register a company in someones name in some states. You can also register a US company from almost anywhere else in the world, just using a local representative service.

Or use an agent... So many ways to get around.

I wish more people would realize this. People are taking this whole thing at "Eric's" word.

My word plus all the information we've provided and everyone has verified on here. All of which has been setup in under 3 weeks. Including all the support and building everything else. Plus all the drama on here. Not to mention all this during Xmas, new years, and now CES.

Logos redesigned, sites getting rebuilt, packages redesigned, systems upgraded, and legal all getting worked on.

But hey just you wait as we have huge things coming real soon. We'll be on our owned hardware soon in our DCs. Some new are already on ours now and others as early as next week.

    Yes.

Check the ICO website. We even posted the link on here to make it easier.

That just provides evidence that you've acknowledged and understood your obligations as a data processor.

Being on the register doesn't automatically make you compliant.
It's mandatory to be on the register if you undertake any data processing of PII at all.

    @VeloxMedia said:

    @tfgp99 said:

But I'm sure @Saragoldfarb would love some info. Why won't you explain to us about this clear violation of all our data?

Its not your data mate. They're not your clients. They Lewis's clients. But you know....

So, how come that people who are not his clients have all sorts of demands?

You at least actually are or have been one of their clients. Unfortunately though you feel betrayed - be it rightfully or made up, Idk. Do you still think that talking aggressively and/or threatening will work? From what I see it does not.

In case you actually and really sue, please inform us and provide the relevant documents (PII blacked out, of course)!

But I'm sure @Saragoldfarb would love some info. Why won't you explain to us about this clear violation of all our data?

Its not your data mate. They're not your clients. They Lewis's clients. But you know....

So, how come that people who are not his clients have all sorts of demands?

VeloxMedia made a pretty serious accusation. I want them to follow up. Client or not it doesn't matter I'm allowed to ask. If VeloxMedia doesn't want to show proof that it was posted in this thread, with links and examples of PII from that dump, then that's on VeloxMedia and VeloxMedia is both a liar and a coward.

Why are you still greasing his dick?

You have 100x more of a case in suing LET because they facilitated the transaction by approving Lewis as a provider.

Now he's trying to divert focus to LET ownership/management itself. Sounds like he is now trying to invite a ban at this stage of the failing scam.

If LET does that, hopefully they will also ban all the associated logins that have been used in this scam/attempted additional scam as well. (A little log review will clearly reveal their interconnection -- common VPNs and maybe even some more telling slip-ups in the heat of the moment.)

The only character he won't truly focus his venom on is "Lewis" for some reason. You know, the guy who became exhausted from collecting all the money from those Tom Harper-pimped BF pre-paid annual deals before he even paid his January monthly server renewals.

A Gold Star for the first person to correctly figure out why that is.

In case you actually and really sue, please inform us and provide the relevant documents (PII blacked out, of course)!

Where's my credit and why did you charge my card?

Card is still saved? oh damn

Yes, so make sure to wipe your payment details.

Also watch out for automated PP subscriptions.

You entered your credit card info into the system yesterday. Remember? You even posted about it

Yes, so what? Your site states I won't be charged. Used as a verification measure all the time. No biggy.

Till you made an unauthorized charge.

    So just to be clear.
You entered the credit card info into our system.
And you agreed to purchase service for $5 a month.
You clicked submit order for the service.
You used the service and posted how great and fast it was.

    Are all these correct?

    No.

    Please kindly elaborate.

Look, he stole my money. Threatening me. Should I stay calm. You don't believe the proof I posted? He literally admitted taking my money.

ITS all been very well documented here but I will happily open a new thread on some forums with the exact timeline, unredacted content and the money trail.

ITS an easy win if I'd sue but I wont. You all so worried about suing but it's much simpler. I build the case, report it... Things will be set in motion. Doesn't
    cost a penny.

I have real work to do during the day, and my spare time is already spoken for with another time sensitive task.

Guess you don't actually care about GDPR and people's rights. Just the double standard.

I do very much care about GDPR. However, I only have so much time, and it's already set aside for gathering all the evidence against you into a suitable format to be handed over to ICO at the appropriate time.

I haven't seen the thing you claim Sara has done, so I have no opinion on whether it is infringing or not. However, from what you said earlier, and knowing that you are a US citizen, it's unlikely the GDPR will be relevant.

    The hypocrisy

Yes, you are rather good at it, aren't you?
